अ॒स्मभ्यं॒ सु त्वमि॑न्द्र॒ तां शि॑क्ष॒ या दोह॑ते॒ प्रति॒ वरं॑ जरि॒त्रे । अच्छि॑द्रोध्नी पी॒पय॒द्यथा॑ नः स॒हस्र॑धारा॒ पय॑सा म॒ही गौः
asmabhyaṃ su tvamindra tāṃ śikṣa yā dohate prati varaṃ jaritre acchidrodhnī pīpayadyathā naḥ sahasradhārā payasā mahī gauḥ
Indra, teach us that kine-bearing skill which yields oil as a milch-cow yields milk; may streams of abundant waters flow for us like thousandfold rivers.
Give to us, Indra, (the cow) who gives milk to the worshipper according to his desire, so that themighty cow, possessed of an unfailing udder, the shedder of a thousand streams, may supply us plural ntifully withmilk.
Do thou bestow upon us her, O Indra, who yields according to the singer's longing, That the great Cow may, with exhaustless udder, pouring a thousand streams, give milk to feed us.
