उपो॒ षु शृ॑णु॒ही गिरो॒ मघ॑व॒न्मात॑था इव । य॒दा नः॑ सू॒नृता॑वतः॒ कर॒ आद॒र्थया॑स॒ इद्योजा॒ न्वि॑न्द्र ते॒ हरी॑
upo ṣu śaṛṇuhī giro maghavanmātathā iva yadā naḥ sūnṛtāvataḥ kara ādarthayāsa idyojā nvindra te harī
Hear, O generous one, the speech like a mother’s care: when our wellsprings were dry for gain, Indra, you yoked streams for us.

अक्ष॒न्नमी॑मदन्त॒ ह्यव॑ प्रि॒या अ॑धूषत । अस्तो॑षत॒ स्वभा॑नवो॒ विप्रा॒ नवि॑ष्ठया म॒ती योजा॒ न्वि॑न्द्र ते॒ हरी॑
akṣannamīmadanta hyava priyā adhūṣata astoṣata svabhānavo viprā naviṣṭhayā matī yojā nvindra te harī
They did not bite this imperishable one; she, dear, adorned with garments. Delighting the radiant ones, the wise joined their counsels — Indra, you yoked them for us.

सु॒सं॒दृशं॑ त्वा व॒यं मघ॑वन्वन्दिषी॒महि॑ । प्र नू॒नं पू॒र्णव॑न्धुरः स्तु॒तो या॑हि॒ वशा॒ँ अनु॒ योजा॒ न्वि॑न्द्र ते॒ हरी॑
susaṃdṛśaṃ tvā vayaṃ maghavanvandiṣīmahi pra nūnaṃ pūrṇavandhuraḥ stuto yāhi vaśām̐ anu yojā nvindra te harī
We shall praise you, generous one, as splendid and manifest. Surely a full‑hearted friend is praised — come, bind us with your might, Indra, you yoked them for us.

स घा॒ तं वृष॑णं॒ रथ॒मधि॑ तिष्ठाति गो॒विद॑म् । यः पात्रं॑ हारियोज॒नं पू॒र्णमि॑न्द्र॒ चिके॑तति॒ योजा॒ न्वि॑न्द्र ते॒ हरी॑
sa ghā taṃ vṛṣaṇaṃ rathamadhi tiṣṭhāti govidam yaḥ pātraṃ hāriyojanaṃ pūrṇamindra ciketati yojā nvindra te harī
He stands above the strong chariot like a bull among kine, a lord of cows. He who understands the full vessel of the swift chariot praises — Indra, you yoked them for us.

यु॒क्तस्ते॑ अस्तु॒ दक्षि॑ण उ॒त स॒व्यः श॑तक्रतो । तेन॑ जा॒यामुप॑ प्रि॒यां म॑न्दा॒नो या॒ह्यन्ध॑सो॒ योजा॒ न्वि॑न्द्र ते॒ हरी॑
yuktaste astu dakṣiṇa uta savyaḥ śatakrato tena jāyāmupa priyāṃ mandāno yāhyandhaso yojā nvindra te harī
May your right and left be duly joined, O hundred‑willed one. By that may we attain victory and pleasant gain; grant favor, O warrior, Indra, you yoked them for us.

यु॒नज्मि॑ ते॒ ब्रह्म॑णा के॒शिना॒ हरी॒ उप॒ प्र या॑हि दधि॒षे गभ॑स्त्योः । उत्त्वा॑ सु॒तासो॑ रभ॒सा अ॑मन्दिषुः पूष॒ण्वान्व॑ज्रि॒न्समु॒ पत्न्या॑मदः
yunajmi te brahmaṇā keśinā harī upa pra yāhi dadhiṣe gabhastyoḥ uttvā sutāso rabhasā amandiṣuḥ pūṣaṇvānvajrinsamu patnyāmadaḥ
I was born to you by the Brahman with locks; come near with strength, O Hari, enter the wombs of the cows. Rising, the mares rejoiced like thunder; Pūṣan hastened with his spouse to drink the milk.
