प्रति॑ व ए॒ना नम॑सा॒हमे॑मि सू॒क्तेन॑ भिक्षे सुम॒तिं तु॒राणा॑म् । र॒रा॒णता॑ मरुतो वे॒द्याभि॒र्नि हेळो॑ ध॒त्त वि मु॑चध्व॒मश्वा॑न्
prati va enā namasāhamemi sūktena bhikṣe sumatiṃ turāṇām rarāṇatā maruto vedyābhirni heḷo dhatta vi mucadhvamaśvān
I bow to you with salutations and a hymn; grant auspicious counsel to the swift ones. May the Maruts, approachable by praise, bestow chariots and loosen the steeds.

ए॒ष वः॒ स्तोमो॑ मरुतो॒ नम॑स्वान्हृ॒दा त॒ष्टो मन॑सा धायि देवाः । उपे॒मा या॑त॒ मन॑सा जुषा॒णा यू॒यं हि ष्ठा नम॑स॒ इद्वृ॒धासः॑
eṣa vaḥ stomo maruto namasvānhṛdā taṣṭo manasā dhāyi devāḥ upemā yāta manasā juṣāṇā yūyaṃ hi ṣṭhā namasa idvṛdhāsaḥ
This praise of yours, Maruts, we offer with reverent hearts; gods, put attention and let your minds be pleased. Come near with the heart that rejoices; you indeed are the venerable ones—accept this obeisance.

स्तु॒तासो॑ नो म॒रुतो॑ मृळयन्तू॒त स्तु॒तो म॒घवा॒ शम्भ॑विष्ठः । ऊ॒र्ध्वा नः॑ सन्तु को॒म्या वना॒न्यहा॑नि॒ विश्वा॑ मरुतो जिगी॒षा
stutāso no maruto mṛḷayantūta stuto maghavā śambhaviṣṭhaḥ ūrdhvā naḥ santu komyā vanānyahāni viśvā maruto jigīṣā
May the praised Maruts make us gentle; the praised, wealthy, mighty, and glorious. May pleasant days and all the Maruts be above us; may they be victorious.

अ॒स्माद॒हं त॑वि॒षादीष॑माण॒ इन्द्रा॑द्भि॒या म॑रुतो॒ रेज॑मानः । यु॒ष्मभ्यं॑ ह॒व्या निशि॑तान्यास॒न्तान्या॒रे च॑कृमा मृ॒ळता॑ नः
asmādahaṃ taviṣādīṣamāṇa indrādbhiyā maruto rejamānaḥ yuṣmabhyaṃ havyā niśitānyāsantānyāre cakṛmā mṛḷatā naḥ
I, burned by poison and weakened, am restored by Indra and the Maruts. To you we offer the nightly oblations and morning gifts; grant us strength of melody.

येन॒ माना॑सश्चि॒तय॑न्त उ॒स्रा व्यु॑ष्टिषु॒ शव॑सा॒ शश्व॑तीनाम् । स नो॑ म॒रुद्भि॑र्वृषभ॒ श्रवो॑ धा उ॒ग्र उ॒ग्रेभिः॒ स्थवि॑रः सहो॒दाः
yena mānāsaścitayanta usrā vyuṣṭiṣu śavasā śaśvatīnām sa no marudbhirvṛṣabha śravo dhā ugra ugrebhiḥ sthaviraḥ sahodāḥ
By which the thoughtful ones stretched forth minds and set up strength in the spread-out bodies of the everlasting ones. May the mighty, bull-like Maruts establish for us a terrible fame, firm and brethren-like.

त्वं पा॑हीन्द्र॒ सही॑यसो॒ नॄन्भवा॑ म॒रुद्भि॒रव॑यातहेळाः । सु॒प्र॒के॒तेभिः॑ सास॒हिर्दधा॑नो वि॒द्यामे॒षं वृ॒जनं॑ जी॒रदा॑नुम्
tvaṃ pāhīndra sahīyaso nṝnbhavā marudbhiravayātaheḷāḥ supraketebhiḥ sāsahirdadhāno vidyāmeṣaṃ vṛjanaṃ jīradānum
Protect, O Indra, our comrades; be to men a leader with the Maruts and shining companions. With well-measured ones as allies, set this mighty herd to run—grant abundant sustenance to our cattle.
