येन॒ माना॑सश्चि॒तय॑न्त उ॒स्रा व्यु॑ष्टिषु॒ शव॑सा॒ शश्व॑तीनाम् । स नो॑ म॒रुद्भि॑र्वृषभ॒ श्रवो॑ धा उ॒ग्र उ॒ग्रेभिः॒ स्थवि॑रः सहो॒दाः
yena mānāsaścitayanta usrā vyuṣṭiṣu śavasā śaśvatīnām sa no marudbhirvṛṣabha śravo dhā ugra ugrebhiḥ sthaviraḥ sahodāḥ
By which the thoughtful ones stretched forth minds and set up strength in the spread-out bodies of the everlasting ones. May the mighty, bull-like Maruts establish for us a terrible fame, firm and brethren-like.
The rays of the ever-recurring mornings, favoured, Indra, by your vigour, confer consciousness as they shine; showerer of benefits, ancient (of days), bestower of strength, fierce, (and attended), by the fierce Maruts, grant us (abundant) food.
By whom the Manas recognize the day-springs, by whose strength at the dawn of endless mornings, Give us, thou Mighty, glory with Maruts. fierce with the fierce, the Strong who givest triumph.
