परि॑ सुवा॒नो हरि॑रं॒शुः प॒वित्रे॒ रथो॒ न स॑र्जि स॒नये॑ हिया॒नः । आप॒च्छ्लोक॑मिन्द्रि॒यं पू॒यमा॑नः॒ प्रति॑ दे॒वाँ अ॑जुषत॒ प्रयो॑भिः
pari suvāno hariraṃśuḥ pavitre ratho na sarji sanaye hiyānaḥ āpacchlokamindriyaṃ pūyamānaḥ prati devām̐ ajuṣata prayobhiḥ
Around the radiant, swift-horsed, holy chariot the singer fashioned a seat; he did not fabricate hostility. Placing the pleasant verse, approaching the gods he addressed them with oblations.

अच्छा॑ नृ॒चक्षा॑ असरत्प॒वित्रे॒ नाम॒ दधा॑नः क॒विर॑स्य॒ योनौ॑ । सीद॒न्होते॑व॒ सद॑ने च॒मूषूपे॑मग्म॒न्नृष॑यः स॒प्त विप्राः॑
acchā nṛcakṣā asaratpavitre nāma dadhānaḥ kavirasya yonau sīdanhoteva sadane camūṣūpemagmannṛṣayaḥ sapta viprāḥ
He gave a sacred name to the man-watcher in holy assembly, the seer’s origin. The sages, seated in the hall, the seven priests, came with the ritual pots.

प्र सु॑मे॒धा गा॑तु॒विद्वि॒श्वदे॑वः॒ सोमः॑ पुना॒नः सद॑ एति॒ नित्य॑म् । भुव॒द्विश्वे॑षु॒ काव्ये॑षु॒ रन्तानु॒ जना॑न्यतते॒ पञ्च॒ धीरः॑
pra sumedhā gātuvidviśvadevaḥ somaḥ punānaḥ sada eti nityam bhuvadviśveṣu kāvyeṣu rantānu janānyatate pañca dhīraḥ
May the best-minded ones and the skillful singers, the universal gods, Soma, and the purifying waters come here evermore. Among earthly, manifold songs, the five wise ones move among the people.

तव॒ त्ये सो॑म पवमान नि॒ण्ये विश्वे॑ दे॒वास्त्रय॑ एकाद॒शासः॑ । दश॑ स्व॒धाभि॒रधि॒ सानो॒ अव्ये॑ मृ॒जन्ति॑ त्वा न॒द्यः॑ स॒प्त य॒ह्वीः
tava tye soma pavamāna niṇye viśve devāstraya ekādaśāsaḥ daśa svadhābhiradhi sāno avye mṛjanti tvā nadyaḥ sapta yahvīḥ
For your sake, O Soma, O purifier, the gods, three and eleven, were offered. Ten sacrificial cakes stood above the offerings; the seven rivers and the seven sacred fires honored you.

तन्नु स॒त्यं पव॑मानस्यास्तु॒ यत्र॒ विश्वे॑ का॒रवः॑ सं॒नस॑न्त । ज्योति॒र्यदह्ने॒ अकृ॑णोदु लो॒कं प्राव॒न्मनुं॒ दस्य॑वे कर॒भीक॑म्
tannu satyaṃ pavamānasyāstu yatra viśve kāravaḥ saṃnasanta jyotiryadahne akṛṇodu lokaṃ prāvanmanuṃ dasyave karabhīkam
Let that truth of the purifier be, where all the makers abide together. The light which blazed at dawn fashioned the world; he brought forth Manu, the thundering, like a robber.

परि॒ सद्मे॑व पशु॒मान्ति॒ होता॒ राजा॒ न स॒त्यः समि॑तीरिया॒नः । सोमः॑ पुना॒नः क॒लशा॑ँ अयासी॒त्सीद॑न्मृ॒गो न म॑हि॒षो वने॑षु
pari sadmeva paśumānti hotā rājā na satyaḥ samitīriyānaḥ somaḥ punānaḥ kalaśām̐ ayāsītsīdanmṛgo na mahiṣo vaneṣu
Around the sacred seat come the sacrificial cattle; the king who slaughters is not false among assemblies. Soma, the purifier, had many jars; the wild beasts and buffaloes were not in the forests.
