अच्छा॑ नृ॒चक्षा॑ असरत्प॒वित्रे॒ नाम॒ दधा॑नः क॒विर॑स्य॒ योनौ॑ । सीद॒न्होते॑व॒ सद॑ने च॒मूषूपे॑मग्म॒न्नृष॑यः स॒प्त विप्राः॑
acchā nṛcakṣā asaratpavitre nāma dadhānaḥ kavirasya yonau sīdanhoteva sadane camūṣūpemagmannṛṣayaḥ sapta viprāḥ
He gave a sacred name to the man-watcher in holy assembly, the seer’s origin. The sages, seated in the hall, the seven priests, came with the ritual pots.
The sage, the observer of men, retaining the water proceeds to his plural ce on the filter; like a ministrant priest sitting at the sacrifice (the Soma flows) into the cups; the seven wise ṛṣis approach him with praise.
He who beholdeth man hath reached the filter: bearing his name, the Sage hath sought his dwelling. The Rsis came to him, seven holy singers, when in the bowls he settled as Invoker.
