स सु॒तः पी॒तये॒ वृषा॒ सोमः॑ प॒वित्रे॑ अर्षति । वि॒घ्नन्रक्षां॑सि देव॒युः
sa sutaḥ pītaye vṛṣā somaḥ pavitre arṣati vighnanrakṣāṃsi devayuḥ
He, son of the bull, poured Soma for the drink of the pure; he protects and preserves life, O godlike youth.

स प॒वित्रे॑ विचक्ष॒णो हरि॑रर्षति धर्ण॒सिः । अ॒भि योनिं॒ कनि॑क्रदत्
sa pavitre vicakṣaṇo harirarṣati dharṇasiḥ abhi yoniṃ kanikradat
He, purifier, looked about and poured forth the green‑hued drink; toward the womb he hurriedly poured it.

स वा॒जी रो॑च॒ना दि॒वः पव॑मानो॒ वि धा॑वति । र॒क्षो॒हा वार॑म॒व्यय॑म्
sa vājī rocanā divaḥ pavamāno vi dhāvati rakṣohā vāramavyayam
He, the milking one, brightened the sky; the purifier speeding forth ran, protector of the imperishable day.

स त्रि॒तस्याधि॒ सान॑वि॒ पव॑मानो अरोचयत् । जा॒मिभिः॒ सूर्यं॑ स॒ह
sa tritasyādhi sānavi pavamāno arocayat jāmibhiḥ sūryaṃ saha
He, purifying, made splendid above the threefold seat; together with the mothers he adorned the Sun.

स वृ॑त्र॒हा वृषा॑ सु॒तो व॑रिवो॒विददा॑भ्यः । सोमो॒ वाज॑मिवासरत्
sa vṛtrahā vṛṣā suto varivovidadābhyaḥ somo vājamivāsarat
He, slayer of Vritra, son of the bull, dispelled floods from the waters; Soma moved like a prize in the chant.

स दे॒वः क॒विने॑षि॒तो॒३॒॑ऽभि द्रोणा॑नि धावति । इन्दु॒रिन्द्रा॑य मं॒हना॑
sa devaḥ kavineṣito3'bhi droṇāni dhāvati indurindrāya maṃhanā
He, god among poets, hastens to the jars and runs to the drums; Indra, for Indra, with might and vigor.
