अस्त॑भ्ना॒द्द्यामसु॑रो वि॒श्ववे॑दा॒ अमि॑मीत वरि॒माणं॑ पृथि॒व्याः । आसी॑द॒द्विश्वा॒ भुव॑नानि स॒म्राड्विश्वेत्तानि॒ वरु॑णस्य व्र॒तानि॑
astabhnāddyāmasuro viśvavedā amimīta varimāṇaṃ pṛthivyāḥ āsīdadviśvā bhuvanāni samrāḍviśvettāni varuṇasya vratāni
The gods, sunlike, set the fast-rising sky, measuring the breadth of earth; they were the sovereigns of all worlds—these are Varuna’s ordinances known to the wide-knowing one.

ए॒वा व॑न्दस्व॒ वरु॑णं बृ॒हन्तं॑ नम॒स्या धीर॑म॒मृत॑स्य गो॒पाम् । स नः॒ शर्म॑ त्रि॒वरू॑थं॒ वि यं॑सत्पा॒तं नो॑ द्यावापृथिवी उ॒पस्थे॑
evā vandasva varuṇaṃ bṛhantaṃ namasyā dhīramamṛtasya gopām sa naḥ śarma trivarūthaṃ vi yaṃsatpātaṃ no dyāvāpṛthivī upasthe
Thus we praise Varuna, the great, venerable guardian of the immortal; may he, with triple refuge, place us under the protection of Heaven and Earth.

इ॒मां धियं॒ शिक्ष॑माणस्य देव॒ क्रतुं॒ दक्षं॑ वरुण॒ सं शि॑शाधि । ययाति॒ विश्वा॑ दुरि॒ता तरे॑म सु॒तर्मा॑ण॒मधि॒ नावं॑ रुहेम
imāṃ dhiyaṃ śikṣamāṇasya deva kratuṃ dakṣaṃ varuṇa saṃ śiśādhi yayāti viśvā duritā tarema sutarmāṇamadhi nāvaṃ ruhema
Teach us this wisdom, O god Varuna, the skilful rite—by it may all wrong be removed; with good conduct may we ascend the vessel to reach the regions of the world.

आ वां॒ ग्रावा॑णो अश्विना धी॒भिर्विप्रा॑ अचुच्यवुः । नास॑त्या॒ सोम॑पीतये॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे
ā vāṃ grāvāṇo aśvinā dhībhirviprā acucyavuḥ nāsatyā somapītaye nabhantāmanyake same
The swift chariot of the Ashvins with prudent minds came near to us; for Soma-drinking they brought us help—may he make many others equal in heaven.

यथा॑ वा॒मत्रि॑रश्विना गी॒र्भिर्विप्रो॒ अजो॑हवीत् । नास॑त्या॒ सोम॑पीतये॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे
yathā vāmatriraśvinā gīrbhirvipro ajohavīt nāsatyā somapītaye nabhantāmanyake same
Just as the Ashvins advanced with song in their chariots, the priests sang the hymns; for Soma-drinking they brought us help—may he make many others equal in heaven.

ए॒वा वा॑मह्व ऊ॒तये॒ यथाहु॑वन्त॒ मेधि॑राः । नास॑त्या॒ सोम॑पीतये॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे
evā vāmahva ūtaye yathāhuvanta medhirāḥ nāsatyā somapītaye nabhantāmanyake same
Thus the priests called to the seat of worship as bards of sacrifice; for Soma-drinking they brought us help—may he make many others equal in heaven.
