Thus the priests called to the seat of worship as bards of sacrifice; for Soma-drinking they brought us help—may he make many others equal in heaven.

In like manner as the wise invoke you for protection, so do I invoke you, Nāsatyās, to drink the Soma;may all our enemies perish.

So have I called you to our aid, even as the wise have called of old, Nasatyas, to the Soma-draught. Let all the others die away.
