पु॒नी॒षे वा॑मर॒क्षसं॑ मनी॒षां सोम॒मिन्द्रा॑य॒ वरु॑णाय॒ जुह्व॑त् । घृ॒तप्र॑तीकामु॒षसं॒ न दे॒वीं ता नो॒ याम॑न्नुरुष्यताम॒भीके॑
punīṣe vāmarakṣasaṃ manīṣāṃ somamindrāya varuṇāya juhvat ghṛtapratīkāmuṣasaṃ na devīṃ tā no yāmannuruṣyatāmabhīke
He who cleansed and preserved the wombs, the guardians of thought, offered Soma to Indra and Varuna. Place the clarified butter near; may the goddess who protects us grant the drink as we crave.

स्पर्ध॑न्ते॒ वा उ॑ देव॒हूये॒ अत्र॒ येषु॑ ध्व॒जेषु॑ दि॒द्यवः॒ पत॑न्ति । यु॒वं ताँ इ॑न्द्रावरुणाव॒मित्रा॑न्ह॒तं परा॑चः॒ शर्वा॒ विषू॑चः
spardhante vā u devahūye atra yeṣu dhvajeṣu didyavaḥ patanti yuvaṃ tām̐ indrāvaruṇāvamitrānhataṃ parācaḥ śarvā viṣūcaḥ
They contend where the bannered ones shine in their standards. You, friends of Indra and Varuna, struck down the enemy afar—piercers and chargers.

आप॑श्चि॒द्धि स्वय॑शसः॒ सद॑स्सु दे॒वीरिन्द्रं॒ वरु॑णं दे॒वता॒ धुः । कृ॒ष्टीर॒न्यो धा॒रय॑ति॒ प्रवि॑क्ता वृ॒त्राण्य॒न्यो अ॑प्र॒तीनि॑ हन्ति
āpaściddhi svayaśasaḥ sadassu devīrindraṃ varuṇaṃ devatā dhuḥ kṛṣṭīranyo dhārayati praviktā vṛtrāṇyanyo apratīni hanti
Waters were accomplished by famed strength; the goddesses seat Indra and Varuna among the deities. Another bears the plough; another sustains the torn Vṛtras and strikes the hostile ones.

स सु॒क्रतु॑रृत॒चिद॑स्तु॒ होता॒ य आ॑दित्य॒ शव॑सा वां॒ नम॑स्वान् । आ॒व॒वर्त॒दव॑से वां ह॒विष्मा॒नस॒दित्स सु॑वि॒ताय॒ प्रय॑स्वान्
sa sukraturṛtacidastu hotā ya āditya śavasā vāṃ namasvān āvavartadavase vāṃ haviṣmānasaditsa suvitāya prayasvān
May the good sacrificer, with clear mind, salute you, O Aditya; with the breath of the offering call upon you. Turn back our foes as you do; offer us the oblation for welfare.

इ॒यमिन्द्रं॒ वरु॑णमष्ट मे॒ गीः प्राव॑त्तो॒के तन॑ये॒ तूतु॑जाना । सु॒रत्ना॑सो दे॒ववी॑तिं गमेम यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः
iyamindraṃ varuṇamaṣṭa me gīḥ prāvattoke tanaye tūtujānā suratnāso devavītiṃ gamema yūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
This Indra and Varuna, eight chariots have borne him, O children of the region. With divine gems we reach the godly road; you, protect us always with auspiciousness.
