आप॑श्चि॒द्धि स्वय॑शसः॒ सद॑स्सु दे॒वीरिन्द्रं॒ वरु॑णं दे॒वता॒ धुः । कृ॒ष्टीर॒न्यो धा॒रय॑ति॒ प्रवि॑क्ता वृ॒त्राण्य॒न्यो अ॑प्र॒तीनि॑ हन्ति
āpaściddhi svayaśasaḥ sadassu devīrindraṃ varuṇaṃ devatā dhuḥ kṛṣṭīranyo dhārayati praviktā vṛtrāṇyanyo apratīni hanti
Waters were accomplished by famed strength; the goddesses seat Indra and Varuna among the deities. Another bears the plough; another sustains the torn Vṛtras and strikes the hostile ones.
The divine Soma, flowing like water, self-renowned, (offered) at religious assemblies, supoort Indra andVaruṇa; of whom one regulates mankind, distinguished (as good or bad), and the other slays unresisted foeṣ
Self-lucid in their seats, e'en heavenly Waters endowed with Godhead Varuna and Indra. One of these holds the folk distinct and sundered, the Other smites and slays resistless foemen.
