मू॒र्धानं॑ दि॒वो अ॑र॒तिं पृ॑थि॒व्या वै॑श्वान॒रमृ॒त आ जा॒तम॒ग्निम् । क॒विं स॒म्राज॒मति॑थिं॒ जना॑नामा॒सन्ना पात्रं॑ जनयन्त दे॒वाः
mūrdhānaṃ divo aratiṃ pṛthivyā vaiśvānaramṛta ā jātamagnim kaviṃ samrājamatithiṃ janānāmāsannā pātraṃ janayanta devāḥ
The summit of heaven, the radiant expanse of earth, the all‑swift immortal was born — Agni. The gods made him the sage, the universal sovereign, the guest beloved of men, and the vessel bringing them near.

नाभिं॑ य॒ज्ञानां॒ सद॑नं रयी॒णां म॒हामा॑हा॒वम॒भि सं न॑वन्त । वै॒श्वा॒न॒रं र॒थ्य॑मध्व॒राणां॑ य॒ज्ञस्य॑ के॒तुं ज॑नयन्त दे॒वाः
nābhiṃ yajñānāṃ sadanaṃ rayīṇāṃ mahāmāhāvamabhi saṃ navanta vaiśvānaraṃ rathyamadhvarāṇāṃ yajñasya ketuṃ janayanta devāḥ
He planted the navel of sacrifices, the assembly of ritual, the wealth of offerings, the great ṛtusaṃhita (grand oblation) among men. The gods made the all‑swift one the banner of the yajña for chariot‑drivers and those who tread the path of sacrifice.

त्वद्विप्रो॑ जायते वा॒ज्य॑ग्ने॒ त्वद्वी॒रासो॑ अभिमाति॒षाहः॑ । वैश्वा॑नर॒ त्वम॒स्मासु॑ धेहि॒ वसू॑नि राजन्स्पृह॒याय्या॑णि
tvadvipro jāyate vājyagne tvadvīrāso abhimātiṣāhaḥ vaiśvānara tvamasmāsu dhehi vasūni rājanspṛhayāyyāṇi
O you, sage, do you arise with the vigorous Agni? Your heroic ones swell with proud effort. O Vaishvānara, may you dwell among us, bestowing riches, kingship, desire for glory and horses for striving.

त्वां विश्वे॑ अमृत॒ जाय॑मानं॒ शिशुं॒ न दे॒वा अ॒भि सं न॑वन्ते । तव॒ क्रतु॑भिरमृत॒त्वमा॑य॒न्वैश्वा॑नर॒ यत्पि॒त्रोरदी॑देः
tvāṃ viśve amṛta jāyamānaṃ śiśuṃ na devā abhi saṃ navante tava kratubhiramṛtatvamāyanvaiśvānara yatpitroradīdeḥ
As you are born, all the gods beget you immortal; they did not bring forth the child that is declining. By your powers, O Vaishvānara, you became immortal, as with fathers who gave you life.

वैश्वा॑नर॒ तव॒ तानि॑ व्र॒तानि॑ म॒हान्य॑ग्ने॒ नकि॒रा द॑धर्ष । यज्जाय॑मानः पि॒त्रोरु॒पस्थेऽवि॑न्दः के॒तुं व॒युने॒ष्वह्ना॑म्
vaiśvānara tava tāni vratāni mahānyagne nakirā dadharṣa yajjāyamānaḥ pitrorupasthe'vindaḥ ketuṃ vayuneṣvahnām
Vaishvānara, those great ordinances of yours the mighty Agni established without deceit. What is being born is found in the fathers' realm; they produced a banner for the offerings by the breaths of the day.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 6, Sukta 7 · Verse 6.7.6
वै॒श्वा॒न॒रस्य॒ विमि॑तानि॒ चक्ष॑सा॒ सानू॑नि दि॒वो अ॒मृत॑स्य के॒तुना॑ । तस्येदु॒ विश्वा॒ भुव॒नाधि॑ मू॒र्धनि॑ व॒या इ॑व रुरुहुः स॒प्त वि॒स्रुहः॑
vaiśvānarasya vimitāni cakṣasā sānūni divo amṛtasya ketunā tasyedu viśvā bhuvanādhi mūrdhani vayā iva ruruhuḥ sapta visruhaḥ
Vaishvānara measured the distances of heaven with his eye; by the banner of immortal heaven he made paths for the streams. He upraised all the worlds on his head like a yoked team, sevenfold, spreading wide.

वि यो रजां॒स्यमि॑मीत सु॒क्रतु॑र्वैश्वान॒रो वि दि॒वो रो॑च॒ना क॒विः । परि॒ यो विश्वा॒ भुव॑नानि पप्र॒थेऽद॑ब्धो गो॒पा अ॒मृत॑स्य रक्षि॒ता
vi yo rajāṃsyamimīta sukraturvaiśvānaro vi divo rocanā kaviḥ pari yo viśvā bhuvanāni paprathe'dabdho gopā amṛtasya rakṣitā
He who brightened the beams — that splendid Vaishvānara is the radiant poet of heaven. He traversed all the worlds, the watchful guardian, the protector of immortal light like a herdsman protecting cows.
