vaiśvānara tava tāni vratāni mahānyagne nakirā dadharṣa yajjāyamānaḥ pitrorupasthe'vindaḥ ketuṃ vayuneṣvahnām
Vaishvānara, those great ordinances of yours the mighty Agni established without deceit. What is being born is found in the fathers' realm; they produced a banner for the offerings by the breaths of the day.
Agni, vaiśvānara, these your mighty deeds no one can resist; when born on the lap of your parents, you have stationed the banner of the days on the paths of the firmament.
Agni Vaisvanara, no one hath ever resisted these thy mighty ordinances, When thou, arising from thy Parents' bosom, foundest the light for days' appointed courses.
