Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 6, Sukta 35 · Verse 6.35.1
kadā bhuvanrathakṣayāṇi brahma kadā stotre sahasrapoṣyaṃ dāḥ kadā stomaṃ vāsayo'sya rāyā kadā dhiyaḥ karasi vājaratnāḥ
When did the worlds’ charioteer decline, O Brahman? When in praise was the sustainer fed? When did you, O ruler, place a hymn of thought in this realm, O wisdom, making jewels of strength?

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 6, Sukta 35 · Verse 6.35.2
karhi svittadindra yannṛbhirnṝnvīrairvīrānnīḷayāse jayājīn tridhātu gā adhi jayāsi goṣvindra dyumnaṃ svarvaddhehyasme
When did Indra, bright with splendour, with heroes among men and with victorious hosts clothed in blue, conquer the threefold earth and win cattle, heaven and the bright realms?

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 6, Sukta 35 · Verse 6.35.3
karhi svittadindra yajjaritre viśvapsu brahma kṛṇavaḥ śaviṣṭha kadā dhiyo na niyuto yuvāse kadā gomaghā havanāni gacchāḥ
When did Indra, bright, with the slayers of foes make the widespread waters and create the sacrificial might of Brahman? When were your intellects not appointed, when did the cattle-pressings and offerings go forth?

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 6, Sukta 35 · Verse 6.35.4
sa gomaghā jaritre aśvaścandrā vājaśravaso adhi dhehi pṛkṣaḥ pīpihīṣaḥ sudughāmindra dhenuṃ bharadvājeṣu suruco rurucyāḥ
Those cattle-pressings are in the slayer and horses; the moon and steeds are on the powerful, O seeker. The rushing, milk-giving Indra bore the cow among the Bharadvajas, bringing sweet splendour.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 6, Sukta 35 · Verse 6.35.5
tamā nūnaṃ vṛjanamanyathā cicchūro yacchakra vi duro gṛṇīṣe mā niraraṃ śukradughasya dhenorāṅgirasānbrahmaṇā vipra jinva
Truly the people stray otherwise; the wicked speech I declare hard to bear. Do not let the bright milker’s cow be yoked to the lawless Angiras and Brahman be vanquished.
