When did Indra, bright with splendour, with heroes among men and with victorious hosts clothed in blue, conquer the threefold earth and win cattle, heaven and the bright realms?
When, Indra, will you bring together leaders with leaders, heroes with heroes, and give us victory in battles? When will you conquer from the enemy the threefold-food-supplying cattle? (When will you grant) us, Indra, diffusive wealth?
When wilt thou gatber men with men, O Indra, heroes with heroes, and prevail in combat? Thou shalt win triply kine in frays for cattle, so, Indra, give thou us celestial glory.
