यु॒ञ्जते॒ मन॑ उ॒त यु॑ञ्जते॒ धियो॒ विप्रा॒ विप्र॑स्य बृह॒तो वि॑प॒श्चितः॑ । वि होत्रा॑ दधे वयुना॒विदेक॒ इन्म॒ही दे॒वस्य॑ सवि॒तुः परि॑ष्टुतिः
yuñjate mana uta yuñjate dhiyo viprā viprasya bṛhato vipaścitaḥ vi hotrā dadhe vayunāvideka inmahī devasya savituḥ pariṣṭutiḥ
Mind is yoked, intellect is yoked—O seer, famed in greatness—set by the sacrificer with the breath as one, the single spread of the earth around the god Savitar’s protection.

विश्वा॑ रू॒पाणि॒ प्रति॑ मुञ्चते क॒विः प्रासा॑वीद्भ॒द्रं द्वि॒पदे॒ चतु॑ष्पदे । वि नाक॑मख्यत्सवि॒ता वरे॒ण्योऽनु॑ प्र॒याण॑मु॒षसो॒ वि रा॑जति
viśvā rūpāṇi prati muñcate kaviḥ prāsāvīdbhadraṃ dvipade catuṣpade vi nākamakhyatsavitā vareṇyo'nu prayāṇamuṣaso vi rājati
The seer releases all forms, the poet who flows forth—auspicious in two-footed and four-footed alike. Savitar, famed at the noses, bestows the noble impulse; he rules their going forth.

यस्य॑ प्र॒याण॒मन्व॒न्य इद्य॒युर्दे॒वा दे॒वस्य॑ महि॒मान॒मोज॑सा । यः पार्थि॑वानि विम॒मे स एत॑शो॒ रजां॑सि दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता म॑हित्व॒ना
yasya prayāṇamanvanya idyayurdevā devasya mahimānamojasā yaḥ pārthivāni vimame sa etaśo rajāṃsi devaḥ savitā mahitvanā
By whose movement other gods today shine with godly greatness and vigor; he who filled the earthly beings with splendor—Savitar, with majesty, bestows dominion.

उ॒त या॑सि सवित॒स्त्रीणि॑ रोच॒नोत सूर्य॑स्य र॒श्मिभिः॒ समु॑च्यसि । उ॒त रात्री॑मुभ॒यतः॒ परी॑यस उ॒त मि॒त्रो भ॑वसि देव॒ धर्म॑भिः
uta yāsi savitastrīṇi rocanota sūryasya raśmibhiḥ samucyasi uta rātrīmubhayataḥ parīyasa uta mitro bhavasi deva dharmabhiḥ
You, O Savitar, shine as threefold splendor with the rays of the sun; be you, O god, both night and the twofold protector with divine laws.

उ॒तेशि॑षे प्रस॒वस्य॒ त्वमेक॒ इदु॒त पू॒षा भ॑वसि देव॒ याम॑भिः । उ॒तेदं विश्वं॒ भुव॑नं॒ वि रा॑जसि श्या॒वाश्व॑स्ते सवितः॒ स्तोम॑मानशे
uteśiṣe prasavasya tvameka iduta pūṣā bhavasi deva yāmabhiḥ utedaṃ viśvaṃ bhuvanaṃ vi rājasi śyāvāśvaste savitaḥ stomamānaśe
You alone are the germ of progeny; be thou, O Pusha, mighty with the courses of the Yama gods. You sustain this world and the realms; O Savitar, you who grant songs and strength, be gracious to us.
