Mind is yoked, intellect is yoked—O seer, famed in greatness—set by the sacrificer with the breath as one, the single spread of the earth around the god Savitar’s protection.
The wise apply their minds; they perform sacred rites for the propitiation of the intelligent, great, adorable Savitā; he alone, knowing their functions, directs the priests; verily, great is the praise of the divine Savitā.
THE priests of him the lofty Priest well-skilled in hymns harness their spirit, yea, harness their holy thoughts. He only knowing works assigns their priestly tasks. Yea, lofty is the praise of Savitar the God.
