त्री रो॑च॒ना व॑रुण॒ त्रीँरु॒त द्यून्त्रीणि॑ मित्र धारयथो॒ रजां॑सि । वा॒वृ॒धा॒नाव॒मतिं॑ क्ष॒त्रिय॒स्यानु॑ व्र॒तं रक्ष॑माणावजु॒र्यम्
trī rocanā varuṇa trīm̐ruta dyūntrīṇi mitra dhārayatho rajāṃsi vāvṛdhānāvamatiṃ kṣatriyasyānu vrataṃ rakṣamāṇāvajuryam
Three radiant ones, O Varuna, three effulgent Dawns—hold them, Mitra, these beams. May the growth of our valor protect the royal vow of the Kshatriya, guarding the ordinance.

इरा॑वतीर्वरुण धे॒नवो॑ वां॒ मधु॑मद्वां॒ सिन्ध॑वो मित्र दुह्रे । त्रय॑स्तस्थुर्वृष॒भास॑स्तिसृ॒णां धि॒षणा॑नां रेतो॒धा वि द्यु॒मन्तः॑
irāvatīrvaruṇa dhenavo vāṃ madhumadvāṃ sindhavo mitra duhre trayastasthurvṛṣabhāsastisṛṇāṃ dhiṣaṇānāṃ retodhā vi dyumantaḥ
Iravati, Varuṇa, cows and you, nourishing rivers, Sindhu and Mitra milked (the bulls). Three stood as bulls, as the reins of three herds—semen-bearing, mighty in brilliance.

प्रा॒तर्दे॒वीमदि॑तिं जोहवीमि म॒ध्यंदि॑न॒ उदि॑ता॒ सूर्य॑स्य । रा॒ये मि॑त्रावरुणा स॒र्वता॒तेळे॑ तो॒काय॒ तन॑याय॒ शं योः
prātardevīmaditiṃ johavīmi madhyaṃdina uditā sūryasya rāye mitrāvaruṇā sarvatāteḷe tokāya tanayāya śaṃ yoḥ
At dawn I invoke the goddess Aditi, the risen mid-day, the uplifted Sun. For the realm may Mitra and Varuṇa, in every direction, grant a lovely path for the offspring of the streams—may it be auspicious.

या ध॒र्तारा॒ रज॑सो रोच॒नस्यो॒तादि॒त्या दि॒व्या पार्थि॑वस्य । न वां॑ दे॒वा अ॒मृता॒ आ मि॑नन्ति व्र॒तानि॑ मित्रावरुणा ध्रु॒वाणि॑
yā dhartārā rajaso rocanasyotādityā divyā pārthivasya na vāṃ devā amṛtā ā minanti vratāni mitrāvaruṇā dhruvāṇi
She who upholds the shining order born of the gods, the divine Aditi and the earthly—gods do not call you deathless by vows, Mitra and Varuṇa are steadfast.
