वरु॑णं वो रि॒शाद॑समृ॒चा मि॒त्रं ह॑वामहे । परि॑ व्र॒जेव॑ बा॒ह्वोर्ज॑ग॒न्वांसा॒ स्व॑र्णरम्
varuṇaṃ vo riśādasamṛcā mitraṃ havāmahe pari vrajeva bāhvorjaganvāṃsā svarṇaram
We invoke Varuṇa, fairest of seers, and Mitra. Around them let the arms move, may they possess the golden wealth.

ता बा॒हवा॑ सुचे॒तुना॒ प्र य॑न्तमस्मा॒ अर्च॑ते । शेवं॒ हि जा॒र्यं॑ वां॒ विश्वा॑सु॒ क्षासु॒ जोगु॑वे
tā bāhavā sucetunā pra yantamasmā arcate śevaṃ hi jāryaṃ vāṃ viśvāsu kṣāsu joguve
Those arms, with clear thought, approach us; he worships them. Indeed, the ox-like steeds of yours hasten among all creatures in your paths.

यन्नू॒नम॒श्यां गतिं॑ मि॒त्रस्य॑ यायां प॒था । अस्य॑ प्रि॒यस्य॒ शर्म॒ण्यहिं॑सानस्य सश्चिरे
yannūnamaśyāṃ gatiṃ mitrasya yāyāṃ pathā asya priyasya śarmaṇyahiṃsānasya saścire
What is the certain course in that path where Mitra goes? For this beloved one’s glory, swift destruction of enemies will soon cease.

यु॒वाभ्यां॑ मित्रावरुणोप॒मं धे॑यामृ॒चा । यद्ध॒ क्षये॑ म॒घोनां॑ स्तोतॄ॒णां च॑ स्पू॒र्धसे॑
yuvābhyāṃ mitrāvaruṇopamaṃ dheyāmṛcā yaddha kṣaye maghonāṃ stotṝṇāṃ ca spūrdhase
We desire the waters likened to Mitra and Varuṇa by you two as youths. When you diminish the wealth of the magnates, you hasten the singers’ vows.

आ नो॑ मित्र सुदी॒तिभि॒र्वरु॑णश्च स॒धस्थ॒ आ । स्वे क्षये॑ म॒घोनां॒ सखी॑नां च वृ॒धसे॑
ā no mitra sudītibhirvaruṇaśca sadhastha ā sve kṣaye maghonāṃ sakhīnāṃ ca vṛdhase
May Mitra and Varuṇa be friendly to us with noble gifts; in the wasting of the magnates you increase our companions’ prosperity.

यु॒वं नो॒ येषु॑ वरुण क्ष॒त्रं बृ॒हच्च॑ बिभृ॒थः । उ॒रु णो॒ वाज॑सातये कृ॒तं रा॒ये स्व॒स्तये॑
yuvaṃ no yeṣu varuṇa kṣatraṃ bṛhacca bibhṛthaḥ uru ṇo vājasātaye kṛtaṃ rāye svastaye
You two hold for us a broad and mighty realm, Varuṇa—vastly upheld. May you, of fierce wealth, make strong our vigor for wealth and welfare.

उ॒च्छन्त्यां॑ मे यज॒ता दे॒वक्ष॑त्रे॒ रुश॑द्गवि । सु॒तं सोमं॒ न ह॒स्तिभि॒रा प॒ड्भिर्धा॑वतं नरा॒ बिभ्र॑तावर्च॒नान॑सम्
ucchantyāṃ me yajatā devakṣatre ruśadgavi sutaṃ somaṃ na hastibhirā paḍbhirdhāvataṃ narā bibhratāvarcanānasam
O gods, let my worship rise in the sacred realm; bring Soma, secured by hands, carried by men with hymns and rites.
