म॒नु॒ष्वत्त्वा॒ नि धी॑महि मनु॒ष्वत्समि॑धीमहि । अग्ने॑ मनु॒ष्वद॑ङ्गिरो दे॒वान्दे॑वय॒ते य॑ज
manuṣvattvā ni dhīmahi manuṣvatsamidhīmahi agne manuṣvadaṅgiro devāndevayate yaja
We meditate on humanity, we make equal the human; Agni, O Angiras among men, direct the gods, make the offering of the sacrifice.

त्वं हि मानु॑षे॒ जनेऽग्ने॒ सुप्री॑त इ॒ध्यसे॑ । स्रुच॑स्त्वा यन्त्यानु॒षक्सुजा॑त॒ सर्पि॑रासुते
tvaṃ hi mānuṣe jane'gne suprīta idhyase srucastvā yantyānuṣaksujāta sarpirāsute
Indeed, O Agni, you are beloved among human folk; you are praised by the heard, following the newly born serpent-child.

त्वां विश्वे॑ स॒जोष॑सो दे॒वासो॑ दू॒तम॑क्रत । स॒प॒र्यन्त॑स्त्वा कवे य॒ज्ञेषु॑ दे॒वमी॑ळते
tvāṃ viśve sajoṣaso devāso dūtamakrata saparyantastvā kave yajñeṣu devamīḷate
All the companions of the gods sent you forth as envoy; poets call upon you in sacrifices, they sprinkle libations for you.

दे॒वं वो॑ देवय॒ज्यया॒ग्निमी॑ळीत॒ मर्त्यः॑ । समि॑द्धः शुक्र दीदिह्यृ॒तस्य॒ योनि॒मास॑दः स॒सस्य॒ योनि॒मास॑दः
devaṃ vo devayajyayāgnimīḷīta martyaḥ samiddhaḥ śukra dīdihyṛtasya yonimāsadaḥ sasasya yonimāsadaḥ
Make divine the offering for us, the mortal who lights Agni; bright and pure, radiant from the womb, he attained the seat of that divine seat.
