यम॑ग्ने वाजसातम॒ त्वं चि॒न्मन्य॑से र॒यिम् । तं नो॑ गी॒र्भिः श्र॒वाय्यं॑ देव॒त्रा प॑नया॒ युज॑म्
yamagne vājasātama tvaṃ cinmanyase rayim taṃ no gīrbhiḥ śravāyyaṃ devatrā panayā yujam
O Agni, you who accept offerings, we recognize the wealth; make that excellent speech heard for us, joined with the blessing of worship.

ये अ॑ग्ने॒ नेरय॑न्ति ते वृ॒द्धा उ॒ग्रस्य॒ शव॑सः । अप॒ द्वेषो॒ अप॒ ह्वरो॒ऽन्यव्र॑तस्य सश्चिरे
ye agne nerayanti te vṛddhā ugrasya śavasaḥ apa dveṣo apa hvaro'nyavratasya saścire
Those whom, Agni, you send to the underworld are the elders of fierce death. Neither hate nor wrath will long afflict another's settled vow.

होता॑रं त्वा वृणीम॒हेऽग्ने॒ दक्ष॑स्य॒ साध॑नम् । य॒ज्ञेषु॑ पू॒र्व्यं गि॒रा प्रय॑स्वन्तो हवामहे
hotāraṃ tvā vṛṇīmahe'gne dakṣasya sādhanam yajñeṣu pūrvyaṃ girā prayasvanto havāmahe
We choose you, Agni, as priest, adept in rite, the accomplisher of duty. In our sacrifices first with song we work, offering the hymn.
Rigveda 5.020.04
Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 5, Sukta 20 · Verse 5.20.4
इ॒त्था यथा॑ त ऊ॒तये॒ सह॑सावन्दि॒वेदि॑वे । रा॒य ऋ॒ताय॑ सुक्रतो॒ गोभिः॑ ष्याम सध॒मादो॑ वी॒रैः स्या॑म सध॒मादः॑
itthā yathā ta ūtaye sahasāvandivedive rāya ṛtāya sukrato gobhiḥ ṣyāma sadhamādo vīraiḥ syāma sadhamādaḥ
Thus as he who hears offers a thousandfold he will praise. O king, let us be righteous by righteousness; with cows and heroes, let us be of the true assembly.
