आ य॒ज्ञैर्दे॑व॒ मर्त्य॑ इ॒त्था तव्यां॑समू॒तये॑ । अ॒ग्निं कृ॒ते स्व॑ध्व॒रे पू॒रुरी॑ळी॒ताव॑से
ā yajñairdeva martya itthā tavyāṃsamūtaye agniṃ kṛte svadhvare pūrurīḷītāvase
Bring Agni with sacrifices, O gods and mortals, thus for your prosperity. Place Agni at the sacred threshold, the front, settled in the assembly.

अस्य॒ हि स्वय॑शस्तर आ॒सा वि॑धर्म॒न्मन्य॑से । तं नाकं॑ चि॒त्रशो॑चिषं म॒न्द्रं प॒रो म॑नी॒षया॑
asya hi svayaśastara āsā vidharmanmanyase taṃ nākaṃ citraśociṣaṃ mandraṃ paro manīṣayā
For his own fame he is the powerful one; you consider his ordained rule. That brilliant lamenting one, the chief, the higher in thought, moves not the mindless.

अ॒स्य वासा उ॑ अ॒र्चिषा॒ य आयु॑क्त तु॒जा गि॒रा । दि॒वो न यस्य॒ रेत॑सा बृ॒हच्छोच॑न्त्य॒र्चयः॑
asya vāsā u arciṣā ya āyukta tujā girā divo na yasya retasā bṛhacchocantyarcayaḥ
His dwelling is with radiance; a strong voice has bound his life. The heavens whose seed is not, the great ones worship with offerings.

अ॒स्य क्रत्वा॒ विचे॑तसो द॒स्मस्य॒ वसु॒ रथ॒ आ । अधा॒ विश्वा॑सु॒ हव्यो॒ऽग्निर्वि॒क्षु प्र श॑स्यते
asya kratvā vicetaso dasmasya vasu ratha ā adhā viśvāsu havyo'gnirvikṣu pra śasyate
By his sacrifice and thoughtful ritual the ten treasures, the steed, the chariot came to him. Beneath, all the Vasus—Agni is invoked and praised for worship.

नू न॒ इद्धि वार्य॑मा॒सा स॑चन्त सू॒रयः॑ । ऊर्जो॑ नपाद॒भिष्ट॑ये पा॒हि श॒ग्धि स्व॒स्तय॑ उ॒तैधि॑ पृ॒त्सु नो॑ वृ॒धे
nū na iddhi vāryamāsā sacanta sūrayaḥ ūrjo napādabhiṣṭaye pāhi śagdhi svastaya utaidhi pṛtsu no vṛdhe
Come now, bring the oblation, O Agni; the radiant ones converse. May strength be for the seat; protect us, O mighty, on the broad places of the fathers.
