म॒रुत्वा॑ँ इन्द्र वृष॒भो रणा॑य॒ पिबा॒ सोम॑मनुष्व॒धं मदा॑य । आ सि॑ञ्चस्व ज॒ठरे॒ मध्व॑ ऊ॒र्मिं त्वं राजा॑सि प्र॒दिवः॑ सु॒ताना॑म्
marutvām̐ indra vṛṣabho raṇāya pibā somamanuṣvadhaṃ madāya ā siñcasva jaṭhare madhva ūrmiṃ tvaṃ rājāsi pradivaḥ sutānām
Maruts and Indra, O bull, drink Soma for battle, inhale strength’s intoxication; sprinkle the sweetness in the belly, O king, swell the wave for the sons of heaven.

स॒जोषा॑ इन्द्र॒ सग॑णो म॒रुद्भिः॒ सोमं॑ पिब वृत्र॒हा शू॑र वि॒द्वान् । ज॒हि शत्रू॒ँरप॒ मृधो॑ नुद॒स्वाथाभ॑यं कृणुहि वि॒श्वतो॑ नः
sajoṣā indra sagaṇo marudbhiḥ somaṃ piba vṛtrahā śūra vidvān jahi śatrūm̐rapa mṛdho nudasvāthābhayaṃ kṛṇuhi viśvato naḥ
Indra with comrades, O Sajoṣa, drink Soma with the Maruts—slayer of Vritra, heroic, wise. Destroy our foes, tame the hostile, grant us fearless protection from all sides.

उ॒त ऋ॒तुभि॑रृतुपाः पाहि॒ सोम॒मिन्द्र॑ दे॒वेभिः॒ सखि॑भिः सु॒तं नः॑ । याँ आभ॑जो म॒रुतो॒ ये त्वान्वह॑न्वृ॒त्रमद॑धु॒स्तुभ्य॒मोजः॑
uta ṛtubhirṛtupāḥ pāhi somamindra devebhiḥ sakhibhiḥ sutaṃ naḥ yām̐ ābhajo maruto ye tvānvahanvṛtramadadhustubhyamojaḥ
Protect the Soma, Indra, with rites and seasons, together with the gods and friends; those Maruts who brought thee and subdued Vritra offered thee strength.

ये त्वा॑हि॒हत्ये॑ मघव॒न्नव॑र्ध॒न्ये शा॑म्ब॒रे ह॑रिवो॒ ये गवि॑ष्टौ । ये त्वा॑ नू॒नम॑नु॒मद॑न्ति॒ विप्राः॒ पिबे॑न्द्र॒ सोमं॒ सग॑णो म॒रुद्भिः॑
ye tvāhihatye maghavannavardhanye śāmbare harivo ye gaviṣṭau ye tvā nūnamanumadanti viprāḥ pibendra somaṃ sagaṇo marudbhiḥ
Those who killed for you the mighty gifts and increased the wealth—O Hariva, who in assemblies—those seers who then praised you, too, drink Soma with Maruts and comrades.

म॒रुत्व॑न्तं वृष॒भं वा॑वृधा॒नमक॑वारिं दि॒व्यं शा॒समिन्द्र॑म् । वि॒श्वा॒साह॒मव॑से॒ नूत॑नायो॒ग्रं स॑हो॒दामि॒ह तं हु॑वेम
marutvantaṃ vṛṣabhaṃ vāvṛdhānamakavāriṃ divyaṃ śāsamindram viśvāsāhamavase nūtanāyograṃ sahodāmiha taṃ huvema
I invoke the Maruts’ bull, increaser of vigor, heavenly ruler Indra’s power; I call together the trusted ones anew—this fierce radiance I offer in prayer.
