वि पाज॑सा पृ॒थुना॒ शोशु॑चानो॒ बाध॑स्व द्वि॒षो र॒क्षसो॒ अमी॑वाः । सु॒शर्म॑णो बृह॒तः शर्म॑णि स्याम॒ग्नेर॒हं सु॒हव॑स्य॒ प्रणी॑तौ
vi pājasā pṛthunā śośucāno bādhasva dviṣo rakṣaso amīvāḥ suśarmaṇo bṛhataḥ śarmaṇi syāmagnerahaṃ suhavasya praṇītau
By broad protection restrain the foes who harass like ravening demons. I, the Agni, with good protection and great shelter, am led by the gracious one.

त्वं नो॑ अ॒स्या उ॒षसो॒ व्यु॑ष्टौ॒ त्वं सूर॒ उदि॑ते बोधि गो॒पाः । जन्मे॑व॒ नित्यं॒ तन॑यं जुषस्व॒ स्तोमं॑ मे अग्ने त॒न्वा॑ सुजात
tvaṃ no asyā uṣaso vyuṣṭau tvaṃ sūra udite bodhi gopāḥ janmeva nityaṃ tanayaṃ juṣasva stomaṃ me agne tanvā sujāta
You, at this dawning reception, O Agni, awaken the herdsmen; make constant progeny be born — delight me, Agni, grant offspring well-born.

त्वं नृ॒चक्षा॑ वृष॒भानु॑ पू॒र्वीः कृ॒ष्णास्व॑ग्ने अरु॒षो वि भा॑हि । वसो॒ नेषि॑ च॒ पर्षि॒ चात्यंहः॑ कृ॒धी नो॑ रा॒य उ॒शिजो॑ यविष्ठ
tvaṃ nṛcakṣā vṛṣabhānu pūrvīḥ kṛṣṇāsvagne aruṣo vi bhāhi vaso neṣi ca parṣi cātyaṃhaḥ kṛdhī no rāya uśijo yaviṣṭha
You of human gaze, bulls' descendants of former times, O Agni, arise and go forth; bring us riches and strength, grant us the abundant yield of grain.

अषा॑ळ्हो अग्ने वृष॒भो दि॑दीहि॒ पुरो॒ विश्वाः॒ सौभ॑गा संजिगी॒वान् । य॒ज्ञस्य॑ ने॒ता प्र॑थ॒मस्य॑ पा॒योर्जात॑वेदो बृह॒तः सु॑प्रणीते
aṣāḷho agne vṛṣabho didīhi puro viśvāḥ saubhagā saṃjigīvān yajñasya netā prathamasya pāyorjātavedo bṛhataḥ supraṇīte
O Agni, show forth the mighty bull, grant abundant prosperity to all. Leader of the sacrifice, first among gods, born of the sacred drink, you are great and nobly invoked.

अच्छि॑द्रा॒ शर्म॑ जरितः पु॒रूणि॑ दे॒वाँ अच्छा॒ दीद्या॑नः सुमे॒धाः । रथो॒ न सस्नि॑र॒भि व॑क्षि॒ वाज॒मग्ने॒ त्वं रोद॑सी नः सु॒मेके॑
acchidrā śarma jaritaḥ purūṇi devām̐ acchā dīdyānaḥ sumedhāḥ ratho na sasnirabhi vakṣi vājamagne tvaṃ rodasī naḥ sumeke
You, wise and generous, have spread bright splendour like a well-covered house; O Agni, do not withhold the chariot and the mighty prize from us; be kindly to us.

प्र पी॑पय वृषभ॒ जिन्व॒ वाजा॒नग्ने॒ त्वं रोद॑सी नः सु॒दोघे॑ । दे॒वेभि॑र्देव सु॒रुचा॑ रुचा॒नो मा नो॒ मर्त॑स्य दुर्म॒तिः परि॑ ष्ठात्
pra pīpaya vṛṣabha jinva vājānagne tvaṃ rodasī naḥ sudoghe devebhirdeva surucā rucāno mā no martasya durmatiḥ pari ṣṭhāt
Drink the libation, subdue the bull, O Agni, be gracious to us at dawn with wealth. Among gods be lovely in splendour; let no evil thought from mortals surround our mind.

इळा॑मग्ने पुरु॒दंसं॑ स॒निं गोः श॑श्वत्त॒मं हव॑मानाय साध । स्यान्नः॑ सू॒नुस्तन॑यो वि॒जावाग्ने॒ सा ते॑ सुम॒तिर्भू॑त्व॒स्मे
iḷāmagne purudaṃsaṃ saniṃ goḥ śaśvattamaṃ havamānāya sādha syānnaḥ sūnustanayo vijāvāgne sā te sumatirbhūtvasme
O Agni, invoke Ila, protector of cattle and best of cows, for the oblation; may she be fertile in sons and grant me good counsel and wisdom.
