इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ आ ग॑तं सु॒तं गी॒र्भिर्नभो॒ वरे॑ण्यम् । अ॒स्य पा॑तं धि॒येषि॒ता
indrāgnī ā gataṃ sutaṃ gīrbhirnabho vareṇyam asya pātaṃ dhiyeṣitā
Indra-Agni have come together, the child of the singers — excellent in heaven; you hold this falling one in thought.

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी जरि॒तुः सचा॑ य॒ज्ञो जि॑गाति॒ चेत॑नः । अ॒या पा॑तमि॒मं सु॒तम्
indrāgnī jarituḥ sacā yajño jigāti cetanaḥ ayā pātamimaṃ sutam
Indra-Agni, the purifier, the sacrificer conquers when animate; this child I set down as protector.

indramagniṃ kavicchadā yajñasya jūtyā vṛṇe tā somasyeha tṛmpatām
Indra and Agni, poets' choosers, I seek the shining flame of the sacrifice; grant here the juice of Soma's glory.

tośā vṛtrahaṇā huve sajitvānāparājitā indrāgnī vājasātamā
I praised the slayer of Vritra, fitting, unconquered; Indra-Agni, most splendid in might.

प्र वा॑मर्चन्त्यु॒क्थिनो॑ नीथा॒विदो॑ जरि॒तारः॑ । इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ इष॒ आ वृ॑णे
pra vāmarcantyukthino nīthāvido jaritāraḥ indrāgnī iṣa ā vṛṇe
Let the singers worship rightly, the knowers, the purifiers who conquer; Indra-Agni, I seek this one.

indrāgnī navatiṃ puro dāsapatnīradhūnutam sākamekena karmaṇā
Indra-Agni, together they led ninety into the city, the enemy's wives were driven; they accomplished work by single deed.

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ अप॑स॒स्पर्युप॒ प्र य॑न्ति धी॒तयः॑ । ऋ॒तस्य॑ प॒थ्या॒३॒॑ अनु॑
indrāgnī apasasparyupa pra yanti dhītayaḥ ṛtasya pathyā3 anu
Indra and Agni, approaching each other, go to the houses established by thought; they follow the path of Rta.

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी तवि॒षाणि॑ वां स॒धस्था॑नि॒ प्रयां॑सि च । यु॒वोर॒प्तूर्यं॑ हि॒तम्
indrāgnī taviṣāṇi vāṃ sadhasthāni prayāṃsi ca yuvoraptūryaṃ hitam
Indra and Agni, you direct the poisons and the sanctified ones; you advance for the draught of the two, for what is beneficial.

indrāgnī rocanā divaḥ pari vājeṣu bhūṣathaḥ tadvāṃ ceti pra vīryam
Indra and Agni, radiant in the heavens, adorn the steeds; thus, may your heroic might be present for us.
