त्वाम॑ग्ने मनी॒षिणः॑ स॒म्राजं॑ चर्षणी॒नाम् । दे॒वं मर्ता॑स इन्धते॒ सम॑ध्व॒रे
tvāmagne manīṣiṇaḥ samrājaṃ carṣaṇīnām devaṃ martāsa indhate samadhvare
We invoke you, Agni, the wise, and the royal one of chariots' drivers; the god for mortals you inflame at the appointed place.

त्वां य॒ज्ञेष्वृ॒त्विज॒मग्ने॒ होता॑रमीळते । गो॒पा ऋ॒तस्य॑ दीदिहि॒ स्वे दमे॑
tvāṃ yajñeṣvṛtvijamagne hotāramīḷate gopā ṛtasya dīdihi sve dame
Among yajñas you, Agni, the priestly offerer, art present. O keeper, shine the law: grant to your own tame (cattle) abundance.

स घा॒ यस्ते॒ ददा॑शति स॒मिधा॑ जा॒तवे॑दसे । सो अ॑ग्ने धत्ते सु॒वीर्यं॒ स पु॑ष्यति
sa ghā yaste dadāśati samidhā jātavedase so agne dhatte suvīryaṃ sa puṣyati
He who gave you the sacred fuel among the Samidhas at Jatavedas—that one, Agni, grants abundant heroism; he strengthens and nourishes.

स के॒तुर॑ध्व॒राणा॑म॒ग्निर्दे॒वेभि॒रा ग॑मत् । अ॒ञ्जा॒नः स॒प्त होतृ॑भिर्ह॒विष्म॑ते
sa keturadhvarāṇāmagnirdevebhirā gamat añjānaḥ sapta hotṛbhirhaviṣmate
Agni became the banner of those who go upward among the gods. The pale one with seven priests came with offerings of praise.

प्र होत्रे॑ पू॒र्व्यं वचो॒ऽग्नये॑ भरता बृ॒हत् । वि॒पां ज्योतीं॑षि॒ बिभ्र॑ते॒ न वे॒धसे॑
pra hotre pūrvyaṃ vaco'gnaye bharatā bṛhat vipāṃ jyotīṃṣi bibhrate na vedhase
O priest, speak the ancient words to Agni, great Bharata; he bears the light of the waters — you do not seek to know it.

अ॒ग्निं व॑र्धन्तु नो॒ गिरो॒ यतो॒ जाय॑त उ॒क्थ्यः॑ । म॒हे वाजा॑य॒ द्रवि॑णाय दर्श॒तः
agniṃ vardhantu no giro yato jāyata ukthyaḥ mahe vājāya draviṇāya darśataḥ
May the voices that call bring Agni to growth; from him arise hymns. May he give great wealth for riches.

अग्ने॒ यजि॑ष्ठो अध्व॒रे दे॒वान्दे॑वय॒ते य॑ज । होता॑ म॒न्द्रो वि रा॑ज॒स्यति॒ स्रिधः॑
agne yajiṣṭho adhvare devāndevayate yaja hotā mandro vi rājasyati sridhaḥ
Agni, the mightiest worshipped at the roadside, makes the gods godly by sacrifice. The hot, rejoicing priest serves the king with established offerings.

स नः॑ पावक दीदिहि द्यु॒मद॒स्मे सु॒वीर्य॑म् । भवा॑ स्तो॒तृभ्यो॒ अन्त॑मः स्व॒स्तये॑
sa naḥ pāvaka dīdihi dyumadasme suvīryam bhavā stotṛbhyo antamaḥ svastaye
Kindle for us, O purifier, shine on our sky, good in heroism. Be thou the end of poets for welfare.

तं त्वा॒ विप्रा॑ विप॒न्यवो॑ जागृ॒वांसः॒ समि॑न्धते । ह॒व्य॒वाह॒मम॑र्त्यं सहो॒वृध॑म्
taṃ tvā viprā vipanyavo jāgṛvāṃsaḥ samindhate havyavāhamamartyaṃ sahovṛdham
The wise, the wealthy ones rouse thee, they mix offerings. The sacrificer offers oblation to the mortal companion.
