नि होता॑ होतृ॒षद॑ने॒ विदा॑नस्त्वे॒षो दी॑दि॒वाँ अ॑सदत्सु॒दक्षः॑ । अद॑ब्धव्रतप्रमति॒र्वसि॑ष्ठः सहस्रम्भ॒रः शुचि॑जिह्वो अ॒ग्निः
ni hotā hotṛṣadane vidānastveṣo dīdivām̐ asadatsudakṣaḥ adabdhavratapramatirvasiṣṭhaḥ sahasrambharaḥ śucijihvo agniḥ
Worthy of priesthood, lord of sacrificers, skillful among those who know rites, Nisata—Vasistha, abundant in thousands, pure-tongued Agni—was set as invoker in the house.

त्वं दू॒तस्त्वमु॑ नः पर॒स्पास्त्वं वस्य॒ आ वृ॑षभ प्रणे॒ता । अग्ने॑ तो॒कस्य॑ न॒स्तने॑ त॒नूना॒मप्र॑युच्छ॒न्दीद्य॑द्बोधि गो॒पाः
tvaṃ dūtastvamu naḥ paraspāstvaṃ vasya ā vṛṣabha praṇetā agne tokasya nastane tanūnāmaprayucchandīdyadbodhi gopāḥ
You are our messenger, you bind us together; you are lord, O bull, and giver. Agni, draw forth from the breast of milk—bring forth the herds as they learn.

वि॒धेम॑ ते पर॒मे जन्म॑न्नग्ने वि॒धेम॒ स्तोमै॒रव॑रे स॒धस्थे॑ । यस्मा॒द्योने॑रु॒दारि॑था॒ यजे॒ तं प्र त्वे ह॒वींषि॑ जुहुरे॒ समि॑द्धे
vidhema te parame janmannagne vidhema stomairavare sadhasthe yasmādyonerudārithā yaje taṃ pra tve havīṃṣi juhure samiddhe
We invoke for you supreme birth, Agni; we invoke you with pure hymns, pacified. From whom the birth-expanding ritual was born, to that one we offer the oblation as we sing in your praise.

अग्ने॒ यज॑स्व ह॒विषा॒ यजी॑याञ्छ्रु॒ष्टी दे॒ष्णम॒भि गृ॑णीहि॒ राधः॑ । त्वं ह्यसि॑ रयि॒पती॑ रयी॒णां त्वं शु॒क्रस्य॒ वच॑सो म॒नोता॑
agne yajasva haviṣā yajīyāñchruṣṭī deṣṇamabhi gṛṇīhi rādhaḥ tvaṃ hyasi rayipatī rayīṇāṃ tvaṃ śukrasya vacaso manotā
Agni, be worshipped with offerings; accept the hymn, receive the share. You are lord of wealth, lord of riches; you are the brightness of fame, of speech and mind.

उ॒भयं॑ ते॒ न क्षी॑यते वस॒व्यं॑ दि॒वेदि॑वे॒ जाय॑मानस्य दस्म । कृ॒धि क्षु॒मन्तं॑ जरि॒तार॑मग्ने कृ॒धि पतिं॑ स्वप॒त्यस्य॑ रा॒यः
ubhayaṃ te na kṣīyate vasavyaṃ divedive jāyamānasya dasma kṛdhi kṣumantaṃ jaritāramagne kṛdhi patiṃ svapatyasya rāyaḥ
Both your glories for the Vasus never wane, born day after day. Grant the vigorous, the old remnant strength, grant a lord to the household, a realm to the chieftain.

सैनानी॑केन सुवि॒दत्रो॑ अ॒स्मे यष्टा॑ दे॒वाँ आय॑जिष्ठः स्व॒स्ति । अद॑ब्धो गो॒पा उ॒त नः॑ पर॒स्पा अग्ने॑ द्यु॒मदु॒त रे॒वद्दि॑दीहि
sainānīkena suvidatro asme yaṣṭā devām̐ āyajiṣṭhaḥ svasti adabdho gopā uta naḥ paraspā agne dyumaduta revaddidīhi
With countless warriors, well-invoked, may the gods be worshipped for us—hail! The abundant herds rise for us in mutual aid; Agni, strike the sky and send the roaring flame.
