सोमा॑पूषणा॒ जन॑ना रयी॒णां जन॑ना दि॒वो जन॑ना पृथि॒व्याः । जा॒तौ विश्व॑स्य॒ भुव॑नस्य गो॒पौ दे॒वा अ॑कृण्वन्न॒मृत॑स्य॒ नाभि॑म्
somāpūṣaṇā jananā rayīṇāṃ jananā divo jananā pṛthivyāḥ jātau viśvasya bhuvanasya gopau devā akṛṇvannamṛtasya nābhim
Soma-Pooshana, be the progenitor of peoples, of the days, of the earth: born are you the herdsman of the universe; O gods, make firm the navel of immortality.

इ॒मौ दे॒वौ जाय॑मानौ जुषन्ते॒मौ तमां॑सि गूहता॒मजु॑ष्टा । आ॒भ्यामिन्द्रः॑ प॒क्वमा॒मास्व॒न्तः सो॑मापू॒षभ्यां॑ जनदु॒स्रिया॑सु
imau devau jāyamānau juṣantemau tamāṃsi gūhatāmajuṣṭā ābhyāmindraḥ pakvamāmāsvantaḥ somāpūṣabhyāṃ janadusriyāsu
These two gods, being born, enjoy; these two cut the flesh, hidden, yoked together. From them Indra filled the ripened ones; to Soma-Pooshana be the peoples' strength.

सोमा॑पूषणा॒ रज॑सो वि॒मानं॑ स॒प्तच॑क्रं॒ रथ॒मवि॑श्वमिन्वम् । वि॒षू॒वृतं॒ मन॑सा यु॒ज्यमा॑नं॒ तं जि॑न्वथो वृषणा॒ पञ्च॑रश्मिम्
somāpūṣaṇā rajaso vimānaṃ saptacakraṃ rathamaviśvaminvam viṣūvṛtaṃ manasā yujyamānaṃ taṃ jinvatho vṛṣaṇā pañcaraśmim
Soma-Pooshana set the realm of rajas in motion, the seven-wheeled chariot, the universally entering: he yoked what was cut with mind; the strong bulls measured fivefold rays.

दि॒व्य१॒॑न्यः सद॑नं च॒क्र उ॒च्चा पृ॑थि॒व्याम॒न्यो अध्य॒न्तरि॑क्षे । ताव॒स्मभ्यं॑ पुरु॒वारं॑ पुरु॒क्षुं रा॒यस्पोषं॒ वि ष्य॑तां॒ नाभि॑म॒स्मे
divya1nyaḥ sadanaṃ cakra uccā pṛthivyāmanyo adhyantarikṣe tāvasmabhyaṃ puruvāraṃ purukṣuṃ rāyaspoṣaṃ vi ṣyatāṃ nābhimasme
Divine ones, the stations and the high wheel on earth, another in mid‑air: to us be that foremost man, the treasure of the people; let him cast forth his navel to us.

विश्वा॑न्य॒न्यो भुव॑ना ज॒जान॒ विश्व॑म॒न्यो अ॑भि॒चक्षा॑ण एति । सोमा॑पूषणा॒वव॑तं॒ धियं॑ मे यु॒वाभ्यां॒ विश्वाः॒ पृत॑ना जयेम
viśvānyanyo bhuvanā jajāna viśvamanyo abhicakṣāṇa eti somāpūṣaṇāvavataṃ dhiyaṃ me yuvābhyāṃ viśvāḥ pṛtanā jayema
All other worlds were born; another world looked around and came near. Soma-Pooshana, protect my thinking; by you both may all the wide ones be victorious with oblations.

धियं॑ पू॒षा जि॑न्वतु विश्वमि॒न्वो र॒यिं सोमो॑ रयि॒पति॑र्दधातु । अव॑तु दे॒व्यदि॑तिरन॒र्वा बृ॒हद्व॑देम वि॒दथे॑ सु॒वीराः॑
dhiyaṃ pūṣā jinvatu viśvaminvo rayiṃ somo rayipatirdadhātu avatu devyaditiranarvā bṛhadvadema vidathe suvīrāḥ
Pooshā, govern my thought, conquer for the people; Soma, place the realm upon the people. Protect, O gods, the bright Dīti; the great prayerful, heroic ones.
