इन्द्र॒ सोम॑मि॒मं पि॑ब॒ मधु॑मन्तं च॒मू सु॒तम् । अ॒स्मे र॒यिं नि धा॑रय॒ वि वो॒ मदे॑ सह॒स्रिणं॑ पुरूवसो॒ विव॑क्षसे
indra somamimaṃ piba madhumantaṃ camū sutam asme rayiṃ ni dhāraya vi vo made sahasriṇaṃ purūvaso vivakṣase
Indra, drink this Soma, sweet and potent, the son’s draught. Establish for me a treasure; in your might you will bestow upon me a thousandfold bounty of heroic men.

त्वां य॒ज्ञेभि॑रु॒क्थैरुप॑ ह॒व्येभि॑रीमहे । शची॑पते शचीनां॒ वि वो॒ मदे॒ श्रेष्ठं॑ नो धेहि॒ वार्यं॒ विव॑क्षसे
tvāṃ yajñebhirukthairupa havyebhirīmahe śacīpate śacīnāṃ vi vo made śreṣṭhaṃ no dhehi vāryaṃ vivakṣase
By rites, hymns and offerings we honor you. O lord of the Shachis, grant us the best share of riches; with your favor grant us excellent water and treasure.

यस्पति॒र्वार्या॑णा॒मसि॑ र॒ध्रस्य॑ चोदि॒ता । इन्द्र॑ स्तोतॄ॒णाम॑वि॒ता वि वो॒ मदे॑ द्वि॒षो नः॑ पा॒ह्यंह॑सो॒ विव॑क्षसे
yaspatirvāryāṇāmasi radhrasya coditā indra stotṝṇāmavitā vi vo made dviṣo naḥ pāhyaṃhaso vivakṣase
O lord, you are protector of the noble cattle and famed in glory. Unawed by praises, protect us from enmity; in your might remove hatred from between us.

यु॒वं श॑क्रा माया॒विना॑ समी॒ची निर॑मन्थतम् । वि॒म॒देन॒ यदी॑ळि॒ता नास॑त्या नि॒रम॑न्थतम्
yuvaṃ śakrā māyāvinā samīcī niramanthatam vimadena yadīḷitā nāsatyā niramanthatam
You, O youthful Śakra, with wondrous force, have shaken off deceit. If you have smitten the untruthful, you have cast them down and overthrown them.

विश्वे॑ दे॒वा अ॑कृपन्त समी॒च्योर्नि॒ष्पत॑न्त्योः । नास॑त्यावब्रुवन्दे॒वाः पुन॒रा व॑हता॒दिति॑
viśve devā akṛpanta samīcyorniṣpatantyoḥ nāsatyāvabruvandevāḥ punarā vahatāditi
All the gods, compassionate, together offered the oblation and sent it forth. The gods spoke: “Bring it back again”—so they carried it away in procession.

मधु॑मन्मे प॒राय॑णं॒ मधु॑म॒त्पुन॒राय॑नम् । ता नो॑ देवा दे॒वत॑या यु॒वं मधु॑मतस्कृतम्
madhumanme parāyaṇaṃ madhumatpunarāyanam tā no devā devatayā yuvaṃ madhumataskṛtam
Place me in the sweet refuge, the sweet retreat and return me to the sweet abode. You gods, by divine power, bring us again to sweetness that you have assigned.
