pra sasāhiṣe puruhūta śatrūñjyeṣṭhaste śuṣma iha rātirastu indrā bhara dakṣiṇenā vasūni patiḥ sindhūnāmasi revatīnām
I will sturdily strive, priest of the people, you the foremost in victory; may this night here be gentle. Indra, laden toward the south, lord of possessions, like the Sindhu, of the Revatīs.

mṛgo na bhīmaḥ kucaro giriṣṭhāḥ parāvata ā jaganthā parasyāḥ sṛkaṃ saṃśāya pavimindra tigmaṃ vi śatrūntāḷhi vi mṛdho nudasva
The stag is not fearful; the curved-mouthed ones on high mountains overflowed and brought forth those beyond. O Indra, dispel doubt and tame the fierce enemy; do not be harsh, call him back from the ground.

indra kṣatramabhi vāmamojo'jāyathā vṛṣabha carṣaṇīnām apānudo janamamitrayantamuruṃ devebhyo akṛṇoru lokam
Indra seized the realm on the left like the mighty-born vigor, as the bull plows. The waters gave birth to men who opposed the enemy; may the gods not leave the world unmade by their deeds.
