अ॒भी॒व॒र्तेन॑ ह॒विषा॒ येनेन्द्रो॑ अभिवावृ॒ते । तेना॒स्मान्ब्र॑ह्मणस्पते॒ऽभि रा॒ष्ट्राय॑ वर्तय
abhīvartena haviṣā yenendro abhivāvṛte tenāsmānbrahmaṇaspate'bhi rāṣṭrāya vartaya
By the turning oblations with which Indra was encompassed — by those, O Brahmanaspati, keep us for the realm.

अ॒भि॒वृत्य॑ स॒पत्ना॑न॒भि या नो॒ अरा॑तयः । अ॒भि पृ॑त॒न्यन्तं॑ तिष्ठा॒भि यो न॑ इर॒स्यति॑
abhivṛtya sapatnānabhi yā no arātayaḥ abhi pṛtanyantaṃ tiṣṭhābhi yo na irasyati
Having turned against our foes, may those who afflict us be driven away. Stand thou before us, O protector, so none may envy us.

अ॒भि त्वा॑ दे॒वः स॑वि॒ताभि सोमो॑ अवीवृतत् । अ॒भि त्वा॒ विश्वा॑ भू॒तान्य॑भीव॒र्तो यथास॑सि
abhi tvā devaḥ savitābhi somo avīvṛtat abhi tvā viśvā bhūtānyabhīvarto yathāsasi
May the gods, the Somas, and the revealed ones turn you back to us. May all beings return to you as you were previously.

येनेन्द्रो॑ ह॒विषा॑ कृ॒त्व्यभ॑वद्द्यु॒म्न्यु॑त्त॒मः । इ॒दं तद॑क्रि देवा असप॒त्नः किला॑भुवम्
yenendro haviṣā kṛtvyabhavaddyumnyuttamaḥ idaṃ tadakri devā asapatnaḥ kilābhuvam
By which oblations Indra, making the shining lofty, became so: the gods, enemies of foes, indeed took that to deed.

अ॒स॒प॒त्नः स॑पत्न॒हाभिरा॑ष्ट्रो विषास॒हिः । यथा॒हमे॑षां भू॒तानां॑ वि॒राजा॑नि॒ जन॑स्य च
asapatnaḥ sapatnahābhirāṣṭro viṣāsahiḥ yathāhameṣāṃ bhūtānāṃ virājāni janasya ca
Enemies are those who are foe to the foe — the realm with poisons and companions. As I am king over these beings and over the people’s splendours.
