By which oblations Indra, making the shining lofty, became so: the gods, enemies of foes, indeed took that to deed.

That oblation whereby Indra became heroic, renowned and eminent, I have offered, O gods, (to you),may I become freed from my rivals.

Oblation, that which Indra. gave and thus grew glorious and most high,- This have I offered, Gods! and hence now, verily, am rivalless.
