tubhyedamindra pari ṣicyate madhu tvaṃ sutasya kalaśasya rājasi tvaṃ rayiṃ puruvīrāmu naskṛdhi tvaṃ tapaḥ paritapyājayaḥ svaḥ
To you, O Indra, this (offering) is poured round about; O Madhusūdana, you are lord of the vessel of the son. You, valorous in many warriors, remove misfortune; you, ascetic, conquer by austerity, O heaven.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 167 · Verse 10.167.2
svarjitaṃ mahi mandānamandhaso havāmahe pari śakraṃ sutām̐ upa imaṃ no yajñamiha bodhyā gahi spṛdho jayantaṃ maghavānamīmahe
We have offered what was won in battle, the great oblation for the blind; we have made the sacrifice around Śakra for the son. Take hold of this sacrifice here for us, O victorious one, the generous, who prevails.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 167 · Verse 10.167.3
somasya rājño varuṇasya dharmaṇi bṛhaspateranumatyā u śarmaṇi tavāhamadya maghavannupastutau dhātarvidhātaḥ kalaśām̐ abhakṣayam
By the assent of Soma the king and of Varuṇa, by the ordinances of Dharma and of Bṛhaspati, today I, the generous, praise; the established rituals, the vessels fashioned by the laws, grant imperishability.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 167 · Verse 10.167.4
prasūto bhakṣamakaraṃ carāvapi stomaṃ cemaṃ prathamaḥ sūrirunmṛje sute sātena yadyāgamaṃ vāṃ prati viśvāmitrajamadagnī dame
Born, making food and roaming, this first heroic praise washes away impurity. If with that son the sacred rites come to you — O Viśvāmitra, Jamadagni, subdue (them).
