tubhyedamindra pari ṣicyate madhu tvaṃ sutasya kalaśasya rājasi tvaṃ rayiṃ puruvīrāmu naskṛdhi tvaṃ tapaḥ paritapyājayaḥ svaḥ
To you, O Indra, this (offering) is poured round about; O Madhusūdana, you are lord of the vessel of the son. You, valorous in many warriors, remove misfortune; you, ascetic, conquer by austerity, O heaven.
For you, Indra, is this Soma poured forth, you rule over the effused (Soma of) the jar; do you bestowupon us riches with numerous sons, you did win heaven, performing arduous penance.
THIS pleasant meath, O Indra, is effused for thee: thou art the ruling Lord of beaker and of juice. Bestow upon us wealth with many hero sons: thou, having glowed with Fervour, wortnest heavenly light.
