उद॒सौ सूर्यो॑ अगा॒दुद॒यं मा॑म॒को भगः॑ । अ॒हं तद्वि॑द्व॒ला पति॑म॒भ्य॑साक्षि विषास॒हिः
udasau sūryo agādudayaṃ māmako bhagaḥ ahaṃ tadvidvalā patimabhyasākṣi viṣāsahiḥ
The sun rose at dawn; O lord, do not vanquish me— I know that power; I set the husband as witness, angry with poison.

अ॒हं के॒तुर॒हं मू॒र्धाहमु॒ग्रा वि॒वाच॑नी । ममेदनु॒ क्रतुं॒ पतिः॑ सेहा॒नाया॑ उ॒पाच॑रेत्
ahaṃ keturahaṃ mūrdhāhamugrā vivācanī mamedanu kratuṃ patiḥ sehānāyā upācaret
I am the banner, I am the crest, I am the head and the strong utterer; let my body be the rite—may the husband perform this favor for me.

मम॑ पु॒त्राः श॑त्रु॒हणोऽथो॑ मे दुहि॒ता वि॒राट् । उ॒ताहम॑स्मि संज॒या पत्यौ॑ मे॒ श्लोक॑ उत्त॒मः
mama putrāḥ śatruhaṇo'tho me duhitā virāṭ utāhamasmi saṃjayā patyau me śloka uttamaḥ
My sons are slayers of foes, my daughters full of splendour; I am united with victory, my lord is the best of songs.

येनेन्द्रो॑ ह॒विषा॑ कृ॒त्व्यभ॑वद्द्यु॒म्न्यु॑त्त॒मः । इ॒दं तद॑क्रि देवा असप॒त्ना किला॑भुवम्
yenendro haviṣā kṛtvyabhavaddyumnyuttamaḥ idaṃ tadakri devā asapatnā kilābhuvam
By whom Indra, making the oblation, became the highest shining; this became that for the gods, surely not foes.

अ॒स॒प॒त्ना स॑पत्न॒घ्नी जय॑न्त्यभि॒भूव॑री । आवृ॑क्षम॒न्यासां॒ वर्चो॒ राधो॒ अस्थे॑यसामिव
asapatnā sapatnaghnī jayantyabhibhūvarī āvṛkṣamanyāsāṃ varco rādho astheyasāmiva
Not foes but destroyers of foes triumphed and became mighty; their splendour covered the mind as if the wealth of others.

सम॑जैषमि॒मा अ॒हं स॒पत्नी॑रभि॒भूव॑री । यथा॒हम॒स्य वी॒रस्य॑ वि॒राजा॑नि॒ जन॑स्य च
samajaiṣamimā ahaṃ sapatnīrabhibhūvarī yathāhamasya vīrasya virājāni janasya ca
I together made this — I, conquering with the co-wife; as I am of that hero, so are the splendours and the man’s.
