The waters, the fire, the sun rise; the moons and broad heavens shine with radiance. May the Ashvins grant long life; the divine Savita made the chariot, separating the world.

yadyuñjāthe vṛṣaṇamaśvinā rathaṃ ghṛtena no madhunā kṣatramukṣatam asmākaṃ brahma pṛtanāsu jinvataṃ vayaṃ dhanā śūrasātā bhajemahi
When the Ashvins yoked the bull-like chariot with ghee and honey, they released the dominion. They won over our strength among resolute men; we shall worship the wealthy, heroic elders.

Arvantricakra, bearer of sweetness, the chariot—swift, long-steeded—may the Ashvins grant well-being. The three-banded, liberal, universally blessed one spoke auspicious words to bipeds and quadrupeds.

Bring us vigor, O youthful Ashvins, sweetest of mind; who is it that examines us with what? They carried off obstacles, released the spoil, made hatred to cease and became steadfast friends.

You bore the womb in the worlds, you placed the universes within the realms. You brought Agni, bulls, waters, and forests with the Ashvins to these places.

You stand as healers with salves and cures; you stand as charioteers with chariot-bands and reins. Then you established the mighty realm; you, mindful, bestowed offerings and heart.
