May Pūshan prosper the born one; his greatness grows, his splendor does not slumber, nor his praise. I invoke the bountiful weaver who brings forth abundance. He who is the life of the universe, the bulls of the god bring life.

Pūshan indeed, do not let the debt of our strength be yoked by the songs as the yielding camel is not a burdened camel. May he who grants us being be propitious to the godly friend. From our fingers bring forth light into the chariots, bring light into the wealth of the chariots.

When Pūshan counted your companies and made offerings, he said ‘this is the steed to feed’ and fed it. We set before you the new and appointed wealth, O king. May the broad-chested hero be firm in the chariot’s prize, strong in the chariot’s strength.

This year the brood flourishes, spring dews delight the world; the swift steeds of the heard-run raced and foaled. O you who foster, we fashioned your rite with pious songs; Pūshan did not take another’s gift, nor did he cut off your friendship.
