When Pūshan counted your companies and made offerings, he said ‘this is the steed to feed’ and fed it. We set before you the new and appointed wealth, O king. May the broad-chested hero be firm in the chariot’s prize, strong in the chariot’s strength.

Through your friendship, Pūṣan, they who are diligent in your praise and assiduous in your worship enjoy (abundance), through your protection; by (assiduous) worship they enjoy (abundance); as consequent upon your recent favour, we solicit infinite riches. Free from anger, and entitled to ample praise, be ever accessible to us; be our leader in every encounter.

Thou, Pusan, in whose friendship they who sing forth praise enjoy advantage, even in wisdom, through thy grace, in wisdom even they are advanced. So, after this most recent course, we come to thee with prayers for wealth. Not stirred to anger, O Wide-Ruler, come to us, come thou to us in every fight.
