आ ह॑र्य॒ताय॑ धृ॒ष्णवे॒ धनु॑स्तन्वन्ति॒ पौंस्य॑म् । शु॒क्रां व॑य॒न्त्यसु॑राय नि॒र्णिजं॑ वि॒पामग्रे॑ मही॒युवः॑
ā haryatāya dhṛṣṇave dhanustanvanti pauṃsyam śukrāṃ vayantyasurāya nirṇijaṃ vipāmagre mahīyuvaḥ
For the bold Hṛṣṇava the bows stretch in the wealth of Pumsya; they call forth the bright wealth for the Asura Sukra, the decisive one, leading in front over the earth.

अध॑ क्ष॒पा परि॑ष्कृतो॒ वाजा॑ँ अ॒भि प्र गा॑हते । यदी॑ वि॒वस्व॑तो॒ धियो॒ हरिं॑ हि॒न्वन्ति॒ यात॑वे
adha kṣapā pariṣkṛto vājām̐ abhi pra gāhate yadī vivasvato dhiyo hariṃ hinvanti yātave
He who purified the kine surrounds the cows with strength and takes them; if the thoughts of Vivasvato attack Hari, may they go to the seer.

तम॑स्य मर्जयामसि॒ मदो॒ य इ॑न्द्र॒पात॑मः । यं गाव॑ आ॒सभि॑र्द॒धुः पु॒रा नू॒नं च॑ सू॒रयः॑
tamasya marjayāmasi mado ya indrapātamaḥ yaṃ gāva āsabhirdadhuḥ purā nūnaṃ ca sūrayaḥ
I have cleansed his pride, O Indra’s slayer; that which the cows formerly received in plenty, surely the heroes sustained it.

तं गाथ॑या पुरा॒ण्या पु॑ना॒नम॒भ्य॑नूषत । उ॒तो कृ॑पन्त धी॒तयो॑ दे॒वानां॒ नाम॒ बिभ्र॑तीः
taṃ gāthayā purāṇyā punānamabhyanūṣata uto kṛpanta dhītayo devānāṃ nāma bibhratīḥ
He praised him with ancient songs of old repeatedly; then the thoughtful ones, names of the gods, bestowed grace.

तमु॒क्षमा॑णम॒व्यये॒ वारे॑ पुनन्ति धर्ण॒सिम् । दू॒तं न पू॒र्वचि॑त्तय॒ आ शा॑सते मनी॒षिणः॑
tamukṣamāṇamavyaye vāre punanti dharṇasim dūtaṃ na pūrvacittaya ā śāsate manīṣiṇaḥ
They cleanse him, unblinking, imperishable, with the oblation; the messenger not formerly considered is now addressed by the wise.

स पु॑ना॒नो म॒दिन्त॑मः॒ सोम॑श्च॒मूषु॑ सीदति । प॒शौ न रेत॑ आ॒दध॒त्पति॑र्वचस्यते धि॒यः
sa punāno madintamaḥ somaścamūṣu sīdati paśau na reta ādadhatpatirvacasyate dhiyaḥ
He, purified by repeated rites, and Soma sits in the chambers; the lord set not semen into beasts—this is spoken, O minds.

स मृ॑ज्यते सु॒कर्म॑भिर्दे॒वो दे॒वेभ्यः॑ सु॒तः । वि॒दे यदा॑सु संद॒दिर्म॒हीर॒पो वि गा॑हते
sa mṛjyate sukarmabhirdevo devebhyaḥ sutaḥ vide yadāsu saṃdadirmahīrapo vi gāhate
He is cleansed by holy rites, born well for the gods from gods; when the mighty ones enter there the champion takes hold of the great waters.

सु॒त इ॑न्दो प॒वित्र॒ आ नृभि॑र्य॒तो वि नी॑यसे । इन्द्रा॑य मत्स॒रिन्त॑मश्च॒मूष्वा नि षी॑दसि
suta indo pavitra ā nṛbhiryato vi nīyase indrāya matsarintamaścamūṣvā ni ṣīdasi
The son Indu, holy, is borne away from men; to Indra you sit as a jealous one in the chambers.
