ए॒ते सोमा॑ अ॒भि प्रि॒यमिन्द्र॑स्य॒ काम॑मक्षरन् । वर्ध॑न्तो अस्य वी॒र्य॑म्
ete somā abhi priyamindrasya kāmamakṣaran vardhanto asya vīryam
These Somās, offered lovingly to Indra, made increase his might and were unfailing in desire.

पु॒ना॒नास॑श्चमू॒षदो॒ गच्छ॑न्तो वा॒युम॒श्विना॑ । ते नो॑ धान्तु सु॒वीर्य॑म्
punānāsaścamūṣado gacchanto vāyumaśvinā te no dhāntu suvīryam
The draughts from many cups, like the steam of the winds, approach us, O heroes; may they grant us mighty vigour.

indrasya soma rādhase punāno hārdi codaya ṛtasya yonimāsadam
O Indra, Soma's renewed ones delight and rouse the herd; they established the womb of Rta (cosmic order).

mṛjanti tvā daśa kṣipo hinvanti sapta dhītayaḥ anu viprā amādiṣuḥ
They maim you; ten shafts strike, seven counsels slay; the poets followed you and began anew.

devebhyastvā madāya kaṃ sṛjānamati meṣyaḥ saṃ gobhirvāsayāmasi
To the gods you gave splendor; who then fashioned my progeny? You settled cattle with the herds.

पु॒ना॒नः क॒लशे॒ष्वा वस्त्रा॑ण्यरु॒षो हरिः॑ । परि॒ गव्या॑न्यव्यत
punānaḥ kalaśeṣvā vastrāṇyaruṣo hariḥ pari gavyānyavyata
The renewed ones, in the pitchers, garments and scent — Hari swept them about, surrounding the cows without transgression.

म॒घोन॒ आ प॑वस्व नो ज॒हि विश्वा॒ अप॒ द्विषः॑ । इन्दो॒ सखा॑य॒मा वि॑श
maghona ā pavasva no jahi viśvā apa dviṣaḥ indo sakhāyamā viśa
O Maghavan, drive away the foes from our waters and all the streams; Indra became our friend and widespread.

वृ॒ष्टिं दि॒वः परि॑ स्रव द्यु॒म्नं पृ॑थि॒व्या अधि॑ । सहो॑ नः सोम पृ॒त्सु धाः॑
vṛṣṭiṃ divaḥ pari srava dyumnaṃ pṛthivyā adhi saho naḥ soma pṛtsu dhāḥ
May the rains pour from the sky, flow over the heavens and the earth; Soma, be with us, showering abundant drops.

नृ॒चक्ष॑सं त्वा व॒यमिन्द्र॑पीतं स्व॒र्विद॑म् । भ॒क्षी॒महि॑ प्र॒जामिष॑म्
nṛcakṣasaṃ tvā vayamindrapītaṃ svarvidam bhakṣīmahi prajāmiṣam
You held us as men of vision, Indrapīt, knowers of heaven; we shall enjoy progeny and food.
