प्रति॑ ते दस्यवे वृक॒ राधो॑ अद॒र्श्यह्र॑यम् । द्यौर्न प्र॑थि॒ना शवः॑
prati te dasyave vṛka rādho adarśyahrayam dyaurna prathinā śavaḥ
Before thee, O wolf of the robber hosts, the prize was beheld; the sky and earth witnessed the slain.

दश॒ मह्यं॑ पौतक्र॒तः स॒हस्रा॒ दस्य॑वे॒ वृकः॑ । नित्या॑द्रा॒यो अ॑मंहत
daśa mahyaṃ pautakrataḥ sahasrā dasyave vṛkaḥ nityādrāyo amaṃhata
Ten times for me the Pautkratos, a thousand robber-wolves; ever-flowing rivers struck us down.

A hundred of the asses are mine, a hundred she-asses provided; a hundred maid-servants and a hundred garments—

tatro api prāṇīyata pūtakratāyai vyaktā aśvānāminna yūthyām
There also living creatures were offered manifestly for the Pautkratos: horses in war-trains.

अचे॑त्य॒ग्निश्चि॑कि॒तुर्ह॑व्य॒वाट् स सु॒मद्र॑थः । अ॒ग्निः शु॒क्रेण॑ शो॒चिषा॑ बृ॒हत्सूरो॑ अरोचत दि॒वि सूर्यो॑ अरोचत
acetyagniścikiturhavyavāṭ sa sumadrathaḥ agniḥ śukreṇa śociṣā bṛhatsūro arocata divi sūryo arocata
The unburning Agni, the priest of sacrifice, the excellent charioteer—Agni, with bright expiation, lamented; the great sun grew bright in heaven.
