बृ॒हदु॑ गायिषे॒ वचो॑ऽसु॒र्या॑ न॒दीना॑म् । सर॑स्वती॒मिन्म॑हया सुवृ॒क्तिभिः॒ स्तोमै॑र्वसिष्ठ॒ रोद॑सी
bṛhadu gāyiṣe vaco'suryā nadīnām sarasvatīminmahayā suvṛktibhiḥ stomairvasiṣṭha rodasī
I will loudly sing the mighty praise of the rivers' inspiring speech: Sarasvatī, great among blessings, O Vasishtha’s hymn and moist with tears.

उ॒भे यत्ते॑ महि॒ना शु॑भ्रे॒ अन्ध॑सी अधिक्षि॒यन्ति॑ पू॒रवः॑ । सा नो॑ बोध्यवि॒त्री म॒रुत्स॑खा॒ चोद॒ राधो॑ म॒घोना॑म्
ubhe yatte mahinā śubhre andhasī adhikṣiyanti pūravaḥ sā no bodhyavitrī marutsakhā coda rādho maghonām
Both those bright rivers that flow forward by days, those purifiers proceeding before us—may she, the awakener, the friend of the Maruts, show us the way, bestowing might.

भ॒द्रमिद्भ॒द्रा कृ॑णव॒त्सर॑स्व॒त्यक॑वारी चेतति वा॒जिनी॑वती । गृ॒णा॒ना ज॑मदग्नि॒वत्स्तु॑वा॒ना च॑ वसिष्ठ॒वत्
bhadramidbhadrā kṛṇavatsarasvatyakavārī cetati vājinīvatī gṛṇānā jamadagnivatstuvānā ca vasiṣṭhavat
Good things and blessings she bestows: Sarasvatī, sole giver of seasons, moves like a chariot; she summons those who sing—like Jamadagni, like Vasishtha she inspires praise.

ज॒नी॒यन्तो॒ न्वग्र॑वः पुत्री॒यन्तः॑ सु॒दान॑वः । सर॑स्वन्तं हवामहे
janīyanto nvagravaḥ putrīyantaḥ sudānavaḥ sarasvantaṃ havāmahe
They know, they weave progeny, bringing forth children and noble sons; we invoke Sarasvatī with oblations.

ये ते॑ सरस्व ऊ॒र्मयो॒ मधु॑मन्तो घृत॒श्चुतः॑ । तेभि॑र्नोऽवि॒ता भ॑व
ye te sarasva ūrmayo madhumanto ghṛtaścutaḥ tebhirno'vitā bhava
These streams of yours, Sarasvatī, rich in honey and butter, bring us prosperity; through them may we be made abundant.

पी॒पि॒वांसं॒ सर॑स्वतः॒ स्तनं॒ यो वि॒श्वद॑र्शतः । भ॒क्षी॒महि॑ प्र॒जामिष॑म्
pīpivāṃsaṃ sarasvataḥ stanaṃ yo viśvadarśataḥ bhakṣīmahi prajāmiṣam
He who drinks the breast of Sarasvatī that reveals all, we will feed the folk of many desires.
