उ॒भे यत्ते॑ महि॒ना शु॑भ्रे॒ अन्ध॑सी अधिक्षि॒यन्ति॑ पू॒रवः॑ । सा नो॑ बोध्यवि॒त्री म॒रुत्स॑खा॒ चोद॒ राधो॑ म॒घोना॑म्
ubhe yatte mahinā śubhre andhasī adhikṣiyanti pūravaḥ sā no bodhyavitrī marutsakhā coda rādho maghonām
Both those bright rivers that flow forward by days, those purifiers proceeding before us—may she, the awakener, the friend of the Maruts, show us the way, bestowing might.
Beautiful Sarasvatī, inasmuch as by your might men obtain both kinds of food, do you, our protectress,regard us; do you, the friend of the Maruts, bestow riches upon those who are affluent (in oblations).
When in the fulness of their strength the Purus dwell, Beauteous One, on thy two grassy banks, Favour us thou who hast the Maruts for thy friends: stir up the bounty of our chiefs.
