उदु॒ ष्य दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता हि॑र॒ण्यया॑ बा॒हू अ॑यंस्त॒ सव॑नाय सु॒क्रतुः॑ । घृ॒तेन॑ पा॒णी अ॒भि प्रु॑ष्णुते म॒खो युवा॑ सु॒दक्षो॒ रज॑सो॒ विध॑र्मणि
udu ṣya devaḥ savitā hiraṇyayā bāhū ayaṃsta savanāya sukratuḥ ghṛtena pāṇī abhi pruṣṇute makho yuvā sudakṣo rajaso vidharmaṇi
The god Savitṛ arose, golden-armed; he prepared the ritual, the beneficent. With ghee he touches the hands; the youthful, skillful steeds are ready in the sacrifice’s order.

दे॒वस्य॑ व॒यं स॑वि॒तुः सवी॑मनि॒ श्रेष्ठे॑ स्याम॒ वसु॑नश्च दा॒वने॑ । यो विश्व॑स्य द्वि॒पदो॒ यश्चतु॑ष्पदो नि॒वेश॑ने प्रस॒वे चासि॒ भूम॑नः
devasya vayaṃ savituḥ savīmani śreṣṭhe syāma vasunaśca dāvane yo viśvasya dvipado yaścatuṣpado niveśane prasave cāsi bhūmanaḥ
May we be the best at Savitṛ’s revered throne, may wealth-givers attend the sacrifice. He who is two-footed and four-footed, entering and issuing from the earth, the being of the world, let them be placed.

अद॑ब्धेभिः सवितः पा॒युभि॒ष्ट्वं शि॒वेभि॑र॒द्य परि॑ पाहि नो॒ गय॑म् । हिर॑ण्यजिह्वः सुवि॒ताय॒ नव्य॑से॒ रक्षा॒ माकि॑र्नो अ॒घशं॑स ईशत
adabdhebhiḥ savitaḥ pāyubhiṣṭvaṃ śivebhiradya pari pāhi no gayam hiraṇyajihvaḥ suvitāya navyase rakṣā mākirno aghaśaṃsa īśata
By the unsoiled waters of Savitṛ fulfill what is wished, protect our cattle with auspicious ones. Hiranyajihva for Savitṛ newly arose; ward off the sinful one; favorably direct the sacrifice towards what is blameless.

उदु॒ ष्य दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता दमू॑ना॒ हिर॑ण्यपाणिः प्रतिदो॒षम॑स्थात् । अयो॑हनुर्यज॒तो म॒न्द्रजि॑ह्व॒ आ दा॒शुषे॑ सुवति॒ भूरि॑ वा॒मम्
udu ṣya devaḥ savitā damūnā hiraṇyapāṇiḥ pratidoṣamasthāt ayohanuryajato mandrajihva ā dāśuṣe suvati bhūri vāmam
The god Savitṛ, of golden hands, stood up with firm mind against offense. The metal-born, soft-tongued, gave offerings; may Savitṛ grant abundant favor to the worship worthy.

उदू॑ अयाँ उपव॒क्तेव॑ बा॒हू हि॑र॒ण्यया॑ सवि॒ता सु॒प्रती॑का । दि॒वो रोहां॑स्यरुहत्पृथि॒व्या अरी॑रमत्प॒तय॒त्कच्चि॒दभ्व॑म्
udū ayām̐ upavakteva bāhū hiraṇyayā savitā supratīkā divo rohāṃsyaruhatpṛthivyā arīramatpatayatkaccidabhvam
Behold! He has come, the golden-armed Savitṛ, bearing the uplifted beams; the sky’s rays mounted, the earth’s lords moved; perhaps he carried them forth.

वा॒मम॒द्य स॑वितर्वा॒ममु॒ श्वो दि॒वेदि॑वे वा॒मम॒स्मभ्यं॑ सावीः । वा॒मस्य॒ हि क्षय॑स्य देव॒ भूरे॑र॒या धि॒या वा॑म॒भाजः॑ स्याम
vāmamadya savitarvāmamu śvo divedive vāmamasmabhyaṃ sāvīḥ vāmasya hi kṣayasya deva bhūrerayā dhiyā vāmabhājaḥ syāma
May the auspicious Savitar be friendly to us today and tomorrow and on every day; may the beneficent share of the prosperous be ours; may we partake of the bounty of the glorious one.
