तत्स॑वि॒तुर्वृ॑णीमहे व॒यं दे॒वस्य॒ भोज॑नम् । श्रेष्ठं॑ सर्व॒धात॑मं॒ तुरं॒ भग॑स्य धीमहि
tatsaviturvṛṇīmahe vayaṃ devasya bhojanam śreṣṭhaṃ sarvadhātamaṃ turaṃ bhagasya dhīmahi
We choose that splendid food of the god Savitar; we meditate on the swift, best of all creators, the lordly bounty of the god.

अस्य॒ हि स्वय॑शस्तरं सवि॒तुः कच्च॒न प्रि॒यम् । न मि॒नन्ति॑ स्व॒राज्य॑म्
asya hi svayaśastaraṃ savituḥ kaccana priyam na minanti svarājyam
For this very offspring of Savitar is indeed dear and of his own might; they do not diminish his sovereign dominion.

स हि रत्ना॑नि दा॒शुषे॑ सु॒वाति॑ सवि॒ता भगः॑ । तं भा॒गं चि॒त्रमी॑महे
sa hi ratnāni dāśuṣe suvāti savitā bhagaḥ taṃ bhāgaṃ citramīmahe
Indeed the god Savitar bestows ten jewels; we invoke that portion with wonder.

अ॒द्या नो॑ देव सवितः प्र॒जाव॑त्सावीः॒ सौभ॑गम् । परा॑ दु॒ष्ष्वप्न्यं॑ सुव
adyā no deva savitaḥ prajāvatsāvīḥ saubhagam parā duṣṣvapnyaṃ suva
Today may the god Savitar grant us offspring, abundant in prosperity; avert for us the harmful dream and bring the good.

विश्वा॑नि देव सवितर्दुरि॒तानि॒ परा॑ सुव । यद्भ॒द्रं तन्न॒ आ सु॑व
viśvāni deva savitarduritāni parā suva yadbhadraṃ tanna ā suva
All things that the god Savitar makes hard are made exceedingly good; whatever is auspicious, grant that to us as good.

अना॑गसो॒ अदि॑तये दे॒वस्य॑ सवि॒तुः स॒वे । विश्वा॑ वा॒मानि॑ धीमहि
anāgaso aditaye devasya savituḥ save viśvā vāmāni dhīmahi
Unmoving be the ancient seat of Aditi, the god Savitar's sway; we meditate on all his paths.

आ वि॒श्वदे॑वं॒ सत्प॑तिं सू॒क्तैर॒द्या वृ॑णीमहे । स॒त्यस॑वं सवि॒तार॑म्
ā viśvadevaṃ satpatiṃ sūktairadyā vṛṇīmahe satyasavaṃ savitāram
Come, we have chosen the all-god, the true lord, with hymns today; we hold to the truth of Savitar.

य इ॒मे उ॒भे अह॑नी पु॒र एत्यप्र॑युच्छन् । स्वा॒धीर्दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता
ya ime ubhe ahanī pura etyaprayucchan svādhīrdevaḥ savitā
He who, both day and night, goes forth into the town proclaiming, the god Savitar is the lord of strength.

य इ॒मा विश्वा॑ जा॒तान्या॑श्रा॒वय॑ति॒ श्लोके॑न । प्र च॑ सु॒वाति॑ सवि॒ता
ya imā viśvā jātānyāśrāvayati ślokena pra ca suvāti savitā
He who makes all born ones hear by his verse, Savitar bestows well-being and strength upon us.
