समि॑द्धो अ॒ग्निर्दि॒वि शो॒चिर॑श्रेत्प्र॒त्यङ्ङु॒षस॑मुर्वि॒या वि भा॑ति । एति॒ प्राची॑ वि॒श्ववा॑रा॒ नमो॑भिर्दे॒वाँ ईळा॑ना ह॒विषा॑ घृ॒ताची॑
samiddho agnirdivi śociraśretpratyaṅṅuṣasamurviyā vi bhāti eti prācī viśvavārā namobhirdevām̐ īḷānā haviṣā ghṛtācī
Kindled Agni, radiant on high, lamenting not, shines forth with the sacrificial grass; East comes with abundant homage to the gods, with oblations, ghee and praise.

स॒मि॒ध्यमा॑नो अ॒मृत॑स्य राजसि ह॒विष्कृ॒ण्वन्तं॑ सचसे स्व॒स्तये॑ । विश्वं॒ स ध॑त्ते॒ द्रवि॑णं॒ यमिन्व॑स्याति॒थ्यम॑ग्ने॒ नि च॑ धत्त॒ इत्पु॒रः
samidhyamāno amṛtasya rājasi haviṣkṛṇvantaṃ sacase svastaye viśvaṃ sa dhatte draviṇaṃ yaminvasyātithyamagne ni ca dhatta itpuraḥ
Kindled, sharing the immortal, O royal one, make the oblation fit for welfare; he bestows wealth; Agni, set in order the household duties and the inner song.

अग्ने॒ शर्ध॑ मह॒ते सौभ॑गाय॒ तव॑ द्यु॒म्नान्यु॑त्त॒मानि॑ सन्तु । सं जा॑स्प॒त्यं सु॒यम॒मा कृ॑णुष्व शत्रूय॒ताम॒भि ति॑ष्ठा॒ महां॑सि
agne śardha mahate saubhagāya tava dyumnānyuttamāni santu saṃ jāspatyaṃ suyamamā kṛṇuṣva śatrūyatāmabhi tiṣṭhā mahāṃsi
Agni, glorious, endow thee with great splendour; may thy heavens be lofty; make thee puissant, O Jāspati, protect from foes, stand thou great among men.

समि॑द्धस्य॒ प्रम॑ह॒सोऽग्ने॒ वन्दे॒ तव॒ श्रिय॑म् । वृ॒ष॒भो द्यु॒म्नवा॑ँ असि॒ सम॑ध्व॒रेष्वि॑ध्यसे
samiddhasya pramahaso'gne vande tava śriyam vṛṣabho dyumnavām̐ asi samadhvareṣvidhyase
I venerate thy splendour, mighty Agni, born of the offering; thou art the ox of the heavens, established in the seat of the sacrifice.

समि॑द्धो अग्न आहुत दे॒वान्य॑क्षि स्वध्वर । त्वं हि ह॑व्य॒वाळसि॑
samiddho agna āhuta devānyakṣi svadhvara tvaṃ hi havyavāḷasi
Kindled Agni, called with offerings, behold the gods and the sacred portal; thou indeed art the bearer of oblation.

आ जु॑होता दुव॒स्यता॒ग्निं प्र॑य॒त्य॑ध्व॒रे । वृ॒णी॒ध्वं ह॑व्य॒वाह॑नम्
ā juhotā duvasyatāgniṃ prayatyadhvare vṛṇīdhvaṃ havyavāhanam
Come, ye sacrificers, invoke the fiery Agni in the seat of the rite; choose him, the bearer of the oblation.
