Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 5, Sukta 12 · Verse 5.12.1
prāgnaye bṛhate yajñiyāya ṛtasya vṛṣṇe asurāya manma ghṛtaṃ na yajña āsye3 supūtaṃ giraṃ bhare vṛṣabhāya pratīcīm
O mighty sacrificer, for the great rite, for Rta, grant strength, O Vasuna, for the Asura Manma. Let not the ghee of this sacrifice be ill-poured; fill the voice for the bull toward the east.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 5, Sukta 12 · Verse 5.12.2
ṛtaṃ cikitva ṛtamiccikiddhyṛtasya dhārā anu tṛndhi pūrvīḥ nāhaṃ yātuṃ sahasā na dvayena ṛtaṃ sapāmyaruṣasya vṛṣṇaḥ
Detect Rta; follow the course of Rta, O streams of the east. I will not undergo Rta hastily nor together with two; the Vasna (Vrsna) does not drive me to collide with Rtu by force.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 5, Sukta 12 · Verse 5.12.3
kayā no agna ṛtayannṛtena bhuvo navedā ucathasya navyaḥ vedā me deva ṛtupā ṛtūnāṃ nāhaṃ patiṃ saniturasya rāyaḥ
By what means, Agni, do you make Rtas? With unrighteousness the world became anew; the Vedas proclaimed anew. Grant me, O god, the Rta of seasons; I do not accept a lord of this host as king.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 5, Sukta 12 · Verse 5.12.4
ke te agne ripave bandhanāsaḥ ke pāyavaḥ saniṣanta dyumantaḥ ke dhāsimagne anṛtasya pānti ka āsato vacasaḥ santi gopāḥ
Who, Agni, bound thee as enemy fetters? Who are the watering ones that press the shining sky? Who, Agni, smear the streams of untruth? There are herdsmen of the unreality of speech.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 5, Sukta 12 · Verse 5.12.5
sakhāyaste viṣuṇā agna ete śivāsaḥ santo aśivā abhūvan adhūrṣata svayamete vacobhirṛjūyate vṛjināni bruvantaḥ
Friends of thine, O Agni, were hostile with poisons; these hostile ones became evil. They shouted forth these words themselves, speaking straightforwardly, declaring the booty.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 5, Sukta 12 · Verse 5.12.6
yaste agne namasā yajñamīṭṭa ṛtaṃ sa pātyaruṣasya vṛṣṇaḥ tasya kṣayaḥ pṛthurā sādhuretu prasarsrāṇasya nahuṣasya śeṣaḥ
He who with homage to thee, Agni, upholds the rite, he follows the Vasna (Vrsna). His ruin is broad; let the right one go forth, the remnant of Nahusha's line.
