यस्त्वाम॑ग्न इ॒नध॑ते य॒तस्रु॒क्त्रिस्ते॒ अन्नं॑ कृ॒णव॒त्सस्मि॒न्नह॑न् । स सु द्यु॒म्नैर॒भ्य॑स्तु प्र॒सक्ष॒त्तव॒ क्रत्वा॑ जातवेदश्चिकि॒त्वान्
yastvāmagna inadhate yatasruktriste annaṃ kṛṇavatsasminnahan sa su dyumnairabhyastu prasakṣattava kratvā jātavedaścikitvān
He who kindled you, Agni, who spoke these sacred formulas, who prepared the food — he became the giver; Jātavedas, established by the ritual, upheld the blazing light and the gods.

इ॒ध्मं यस्ते॑ ज॒भर॑च्छश्रमा॒णो म॒हो अ॑ग्ने॒ अनी॑क॒मा स॑प॒र्यन् । स इ॑धा॒नः प्रति॑ दो॒षामु॒षासं॒ पुष्य॑न्र॒यिं स॑चते॒ घ्नन्न॒मित्रा॑न्
idhmaṃ yaste jabharacchaśramāṇo maho agne anīkamā saparyan sa idhānaḥ prati doṣāmuṣāsaṃ puṣyanrayiṃ sacate ghnannamitrān
He who carries the offering, the tireless charioteer, O Agni, the many‑minded, bears the fuel to the beams; thus the supporter brings bounty and conquers foes.

अ॒ग्निरी॑शे बृह॒तः क्ष॒त्रिय॑स्या॒ग्निर्वाज॑स्य पर॒मस्य॑ रा॒यः । दधा॑ति॒ रत्नं॑ विध॒ते यवि॑ष्ठो॒ व्या॑नु॒षङ्मर्त्या॑य स्व॒धावा॑न्
agnirīśe bṛhataḥ kṣatriyasyāgnirvājasya paramasya rāyaḥ dadhāti ratnaṃ vidhate yaviṣṭho vyānuṣaṅmartyāya svadhāvān
Agni is lord of the great realm, king of the priestly function, highest of the people. He places the jewel; the best one distributes wealth to mortals who offer oblations.

यच्चि॒द्धि ते॑ पुरुष॒त्रा य॑वि॒ष्ठाचि॑त्तिभिश्चकृ॒मा कच्चि॒दागः॑ । कृ॒धी ष्व१॒॑स्माँ अदि॑ते॒रना॑गा॒न्व्येनां॑सि शिश्रथो॒ विष्व॑गग्ने
yacciddhi te puruṣatrā yaviṣṭhācittibhiścakṛmā kaccidāgaḥ kṛdhī ṣva1smām̐ aditeranāgānvyenāṃsi śiśratho viṣvagagne
Whatever of yours was made for men, O Mighty one, whatever offerings and devices, or beasts — perform with us, O Agni, like Aditi's sons; may your chariot roll over all.

म॒हश्चि॑दग्न॒ एन॑सो अ॒भीक॑ ऊ॒र्वाद्दे॒वाना॑मु॒त मर्त्या॑नाम् । मा ते॒ सखा॑यः॒ सद॒मिद्रि॑षाम॒ यच्छा॑ तो॒काय॒ तन॑याय॒ शं योः
mahaścidagna enaso abhīka ūrvāddevānāmuta martyānām mā te sakhāyaḥ sadamidriṣāma yacchā tokāya tanayāya śaṃ yoḥ
Great is Agni's might, powerful breath that protects the gods and mortals. May no enemy be near you, friend; what you give to offspring be most auspicious.

यथा॑ ह॒ त्यद्व॑सवो गौ॒र्यं॑ चित्प॒दि षि॒ताममु॑ञ्चता यजत्राः । ए॒वो ष्व१॒॑स्मन्मु॑ञ्चता॒ व्यंहः॒ प्र ता॑र्यग्ने प्रत॒रं न॒ आयुः॑
yathā ha tyadvasavo gauryaṃ citpadi ṣitāmamuñcatā yajatrāḥ evo ṣva1smanmuñcatā vyaṃhaḥ pra tāryagne prataraṃ na āyuḥ
As the Vasus offered the fair necks of cattle and released the bright steeds for the sacrificers, so may they set us free; Agni, prolong life at morn and eve.
