He who carries the offering, the tireless charioteer, O Agni, the many‑minded, bears the fuel to the beams; thus the supporter brings bounty and conquers foes.
He who, labouring diligently, brings you fuel, honouring, Agni, your great glory; he who kindles you in the evening and at dawn; he, prosperous and destroying his enemies, acquires riches.
Whoso with toil and trouble brings thee fuel, serving the majesty of mighty Agni, He, kindling thee at evening and at morning, prospers, and comes to wealth, and slays his foemen.
