इ॒मा उ॑ वां भृ॒मयो॒ मन्य॑माना यु॒वाव॑ते॒ न तुज्या॑ अभूवन् । क्व१॒॑ त्यदि॑न्द्रावरुणा॒ यशो॑ वां॒ येन॑ स्मा॒ सिनं॒ भर॑थः॒ सखि॑भ्यः
imā u vāṃ bhṛmayo manyamānā yuvāvate na tujyā abhūvan kva1 tyadindrāvaruṇā yaśo vāṃ yena smā sinaṃ bharathaḥ sakhibhyaḥ
These bees of yours, thinking themselves young, were not unworthy of you. Where, Indra-Varuṇa, is your fame by which you filled our chariots for friends?

अ॒यमु॑ वां पुरु॒तमो॑ रयी॒यञ्छ॑श्वत्त॒ममव॑से जोहवीति । स॒जोषा॑विन्द्रावरुणा म॒रुद्भि॑र्दि॒वा पृ॑थि॒व्या शृ॑णुतं॒ हवं॑ मे
ayamu vāṃ purutamo rayīyañchaśvattamamavase johavīti sajoṣāvindrāvaruṇā marudbhirdivā pṛthivyā śaṛṇutaṃ havaṃ me
This, your foremost heroic wealth, the best of riches, you have brought near; with Indra-Varuṇa and the Maruts, hear my daytime prayer on earth: accept this offering.

अ॒स्मे तदि॑न्द्रावरुणा॒ वसु॑ ष्याद॒स्मे र॒यिर्म॑रुतः॒ सर्व॑वीरः । अ॒स्मान्वरू॑त्रीः शर॒णैर॑वन्त्व॒स्मान्होत्रा॒ भार॑ती॒ दक्षि॑णाभिः
asme tadindrāvaruṇā vasu ṣyādasme rayirmarutaḥ sarvavīraḥ asmānvarūtrīḥ śaraṇairavantvasmānhotrā bhāratī dakṣiṇābhiḥ
May Indra-Varuṇa and Vasus be to us protectors; may the Marut's abundant fame be our strength. May the strong ones, bearers of invocations, shelter us; may priests bring us to the southern (auspicious) side.

बृह॑स्पते जु॒षस्व॑ नो ह॒व्यानि॑ विश्वदेव्य । रास्व॒ रत्ना॑नि दा॒शुषे॑
bṛhaspate juṣasva no havyāni viśvadevya rāsva ratnāni dāśuṣe
Bṛhaspati, be pleased with our offerings, O all-goddess. Give us the wealth of jewels as you dispensed to the Dāsus.

With pure rays salute Bṛhaspati among the roads; call him by his names, and be mindful.

Ox and ploughmen, of all forms and powers—venerate Bṛhaspati, the excellent one.

iyaṃ te pūṣannāghṛṇe suṣṭutirdeva navyasī asmābhistubhyaṃ śasyate
This praise of yours, Pūṣan, is kindly received upon the lip; may it bring fruit to us.

तां जु॑षस्व॒ गिरं॒ मम॑ वाज॒यन्ती॑मवा॒ धिय॑म् । व॒धू॒युरि॑व॒ योष॑णाम्
tāṃ juṣasva giraṃ mama vājayantīmavā dhiyam vadhūyuriva yoṣaṇām
Grant this voice, the abundant speech that strengthens my thought; may it be like a bride for the young women.

यो विश्वा॒भि वि॒पश्य॑ति॒ भुव॑ना॒ सं च॒ पश्य॑ति । स नः॑ पू॒षावि॒ता भु॑वत्
yo viśvābhi vipaśyati bhuvanā saṃ ca paśyati sa naḥ pūṣāvitā bhuvat
He who beholds all the worlds and fully perceives them—he becomes our protector, Pūṣan, be guardian of us.

तत्स॑वि॒तुर्वरे॑ण्यं॒ भर्गो॑ दे॒वस्य॑ धीमहि । धियो॒ यो नः॑ प्रचो॒दया॑त्
tatsaviturvareṇyaṃ bhargo devasya dhīmahi dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt
We meditate on that excellent glory of Savitṛ, the divine light; may he inspire our intellects.

devasya saviturvayaṃ vājayantaḥ puraṃdhyā bhagasya rātimīmahe
As worshippers of Savitṛ we celebrate this praise by day and night; we honor the divine glory this night.

devaṃ naraḥ savitāraṃ viprā yajñaiḥ suvṛktibhiḥ namasyanti dhiyeṣitāḥ
Men, the wise priests, have praised the divine Savitṛ with well-formed sacrifices; they worship the contemplative ones.

सोमो॑ जिगाति गातु॒विद्दे॒वाना॑मेति निष्कृ॒तम् । ऋ॒तस्य॒ योनि॑मा॒सद॑म्
somo jigāti gātuviddevānāmeti niṣkṛtam ṛtasya yonimāsadam
Soma rejoiced and went to the gods; it came forth pure, the womb of ṛta's origin full and pregnant.

somo asmabhyaṃ dvipade catuṣpade ca paśave anamīvā iṣaskarat
Soma was given to us as two-footed and four-footed, to beasts and men; he wrought desire unmeasured.

Increase our life, O glorious Soma, with peerless fame and vigor; Soma sat among the singers, firm and steadfast.

आ नो॑ मित्रावरुणा घृ॒तैर्गव्यू॑तिमुक्षतम् । मध्वा॒ रजां॑सि सुक्रतू
ā no mitrāvaruṇā ghṛtairgavyūtimukṣatam madhvā rajāṃsi sukratū
May Mitra and Varuṇa, with ghee and cows, free us with abundant wealth; accomplish good, O benefactors.

uruśaṃsā namovṛdhā mahnā dakṣasya rājathaḥ drāghiṣṭhābhiḥ śucivratā
Salutations to the strong, venerable ones, the great of Dakṣa's chariot; with triumphant vows and pure devotion.

गृ॒णा॒ना ज॒मद॑ग्निना॒ योना॑वृ॒तस्य॑ सीदतम् । पा॒तं सोम॑मृतावृधा
gṛṇānā jamadagninā yonāvṛtasya sīdatam pātaṃ somamṛtāvṛdhā
By the hymn of Gṛṇāna Jamadagni the womb was covered; may Soma, the giver of immortality, descend and bestow the boon.
